I can only highly recommend the Royal Malioboro when staying in Yogyakarta! The room is great, the staff are very friendly and the facilities are excellent. The breakfast was also one of the best I have had with a good mix of Indonesian, Javanese and western food. Being directly off Malioboro Street you also stay in the center of town with all sights at your doorstep. I can’t wait to go back.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Immediately after I arrived I felt like I’m at home. I had one of the little huts which was so cute and cosy. The bed and the pillows are super comfortable and it’s quiet so perfect for a good night sleep after a long day. The shower is hot and good pressure. Also it’s very clean everywhere around the hostel. The location is great as it’s closed to many restaurants, atm, shops. Ranasa is perfect to chill and socialise whatever you feel like as they have separate spaces for both. The stuff is just incredible. So friendly, kind and they will help you with whatever you need help with. Just simply a great atmosphere and great place to stay in Yogyakarta. I wish they had more hostels like this around Indonesia.

Hotel Cerha is a newly renovated old building with Artdeco touch. All pieces of furniture are high quality, the staff is kind and professional, there is excellent coffee and a large and rich breakfast. They have an exceptional collection of books about Javanese culture and sights. A good Padang food resto, Aroma Baru and the "gudeg-street" is in walking distance, as well as the palace, the Sonobudoyo Museum and Jl. Malioboro.

MORAZEN Yogyakarta asub Temonis, Sonobudoyo muuseumist 39 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, spordikeskus ja aed. Majutusasutusel on erarand, terrass ja baar. The staff of Morazen are aMAZing! I've been staying there for quite a few times now and every new time feels like a homecoming.

Aia ja aiavaatega Abrakadabra 747 asub Timuranis, 1,5 km kaugusel Sultani paleest ja 2 km kaugusel Sonobudoyo muuseumist. Majutusasutusel on terrass ja tasuta eraparkla. The owner and the staff shower great hospitality, helping us with all our questions and they were even kind enough to let us use their common facilities after checking out because our train from Yogyakarta was late in the night. If I am going back to Yogyakarta I would stay there again. About the rooms, they are basic but clean. We did not need more than that since all day we're out for sightseeing.

Really nice place, once your in the garden it's easy to forget your in a big city. The family are really nice and couldn't do enough for us. Really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

From the beginning, staff was hospitable. They assisted us in finding a tour driver and helping us get train tickets to the airport. The property and room was clean and beautiful. Not only did they serve authentic Indonesian food for breakfast but it was also delicious. And it was a different menu each day. Would diffently stay at this property again.
