Slieve Russell Hotel ligger på en 120 hektar stor grund. Det har en 18-hullers mesterskabs-golfbane, en 20-meters swimmingpool og en luksuriøs spa. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

Beautiful setting. Our room was spacious and so comfortable. It was a relaxing night away. We had a 3 course meal in Maxwells Grill which was 10/10- the fillet steak and fishcake I would highly recommend. We also had some fab cocktails afterwards. Orla working on reception was so welcoming- a ray of sunshine who made us both smile.

She invited us in with a warm welcome, made us a cup of tea and even lit the fire for us on the chilly afternoon we arrived. We had a good old chat around the fire and then she left us to a beautiful peaceful evening to wind down in our comfortable and warm rooms. I loved the sky light/window in the bathroom of our room. The bird song outside, in the otherwise quiet countryside, was delightful. Beds were comfy and blankets were warm. I slept perfectly. Breakfast was great, we had coffee, toast and cereal. Bridie offered us more but we were already satisfied 🙂 We had a lovely stay.

Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The highlight for our furry friend was the expansive green area where dog could run and play freely.
