Located just 45 minutes' drive from Sligo Airport, Kilronan Castle Hotel & Spa features an indoor swimming pool.On-site spa and a fine dining restaurant. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. Absolutely wonderful; a dream come true from the moment you first see it from the car. The staff were incredibly friendly and made you feel like a movie star. I wanted to keep it a secret, but I couldn't help but tell many of my friends how fantastic my stay was, and several of them have already considered staying there. For me, it was a unique experience that I hope to repeat in the near future if possible. Thank you all so much, and Merry Christmas!

Gleeson's Restaurant & Rooms is a lovingly restored 19th-century townhouse offering accommodation in Roscommon town centre, overlooking the town square. Lovely helpful staff... Good food... And Genuinely Dog Friendly

Although we arrived late in the evening, Marie was welcoming and showed us to our very clean room. She asked us at what time we wanted our breakfast and had a full Irish (and some 😃) ready for us the next morning. Her homemade scones and brown bread were sensational. Out the dining room windows we saw their new calf and met Patch, their terrier mix dog. Marie gave us tips, maps, and info on what see in the area and gave us a tour of St. John’s old schoolhouse that is also available to book for a stay. It’s adorable! I can’t say enough about Marie and John’s hospitality and kindness. I hope to see them again if I make it to Ireland!

Beautiful place in a charming location in Sligo. The host greeted us and had time for a chat and to show us around. There is a comfortable common area where you can sit and unwind. The room was very clean, spacious and we had the best sleep! The highlight of the stay was a fantastic breakfast- there was a choice of sourdough breads, yoghurt/berries, fantastic cooked Irish breakfast and the host even organised crepes for my 10 year old! I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to explore Sligo while staying in a tranquil, cozy location with a fantastic lake view, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast!
