I had the most amazing stay at mitra, I originally booked for a two night stay and ended up loving it so much I was there for more than 2 weeks. The host Deepak was so welcoming from the moment I arrived and was not feeling well he got me ginger tea and a packet of tissues. He sets the tone for the whole hostel creating an amazing energy and great friendships for everyone staying. He gave great advice about things to do, where to go next and booked my train for my next destination The whole team is so friendly, the rooms and bathrooms are spotless, the food is great and has a great variety of options. The location is perfect only a short walk from both palolem and patnem beaches and is surrounded by lots of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops We had game nights, movie nights, went for ice creams and beach days which made it so easy to bond with other travellers Have made friends for life staying here and would definitely recommend mitra to anyone staying in palolem

The location is top. The room was super big and really-really clean. The room looks really modern, as everything is brand new there (TV, bed, toilet, fridge). The building is new, so sound and heat isolation is superb. They also have water filter downstairs, so no need to buy bottled water all the time. The reception is really friendly and helpful. The beach is in walking distance. It is a family business, so it feels even better renting a place there.

Our stay was truly comfortable and relaxing. Mr. Allen, the owner, along with his team, was extremely supportive and welcoming throughout our visit. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the pool offered a beautiful view surrounded by nature. The ambience was quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. The place is amazing, much better than the average Indian hostels (indeed, it was my best one in India). The staff is super nice and try to accommodate all your needs. The place is new. The beds have curtains, which gave privacy if you are staying in the shared dorms, and the room is very spacious. The restaurant has very good food. The swimming pool is clean. They have a rental agreement and you can rent scooters and cars in the place. ALTR NATIV is in the middle of the woods, a very relaxed location.
