I loved my stay here and would very happily come back. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the restaurant fantastic - I loved the food. My room was comfortable and even as a garden view room, had a view of the ocean. The location is great - right on the beach and great for swimming or kayaking the backwater. Highly recommend!

I booked The Isle as its close to the airport.  We had a late incoming flight and we didn't want too long a journey into the city.  So glad we did.  Its a beautiful house with lovely traditional woodwork and renovated with modern touches.  The gardens are lush and peaceful.  The bed was huge and comfortable with excellent a/c and a powerful ceiling fan.  The pool was lovely and clean and refreshing.  We were cooked a delicious masala omelette with fresh fruit for breakfast.  We were offered a home cooked dinner but unfortunately we had made other arrangements.  This isn't a typical purpose built hotel.  It's unique and charming as are the family.  Thank you

Location was great, 10 cabins facing each other, 5 either sude. with a very well maintained garden path though the middle leading to the beach. Unlike other places to stay with the same setup there were NO people using it as a cut through which meant it was very private. The rooms were lovely and clean and the guys (Nilan & Sanjaya) simply could not do enough for you, way beyond anything we have experienced before, as example we said the ceiling fan was making a tiny clicking speed (and it was a very tiny noise) they changed it for a brand new one. Rooms cleaned as often as you required, towels changed as required. No noise at all from surrounding area, great for shops or beach both just 3 - 4 minutes away.

My experience at Circle Goa was truly exceptional. The serene setting amidst lush grounds created an atmosphere of tranquility that was perfect for unwinding. Excelent resort! Everything is so clean. The restorant in the resort was great. Prices are realy cheap for europian people. Food is delisius, you can also eat a lot of see food and europian, but also you can eat indian food. Great breakfest, you can also order a pancake or omlet and it is free. Two pools, outdoor shower, great rooms. If you want they will clean the room every day. Resort is on the beach, and they have a private umbrela and sunchair from the resort. You can also order a drinks or a food there. In the room is a fridge, coffe, tea,bottle water , and if they clean your room every day, they will put a new one. Three towels, also one for the beach, shampoin, body losion, dental kid...everything that you need.

First time in Calangute and we made the mistake of staying...

First time in Calangute and we made the mistake of staying in the town centre. It’s a very busy and noisy road that runs down to the town beach and feels more like a mini city rather than a beach resort. The town beach is not great and yet it’s heaving with day visitors from the bus terminus. The beaches improve dramatically as you move away from the centre and just fifteen minutes walk north or south and the beaches are amazing. There are some reasonable and even good places to eat in the main town but the traffic noise is off putting. We loved our beach and beach bar just twenty minutes walk away and will stay to the south of Calangute town next time.

Very lively and plenty to see.

Very lively and plenty to see. What did not work was the rubbish that was everywhere. Walking to the beach, and just behind the beach bars the was mounds of rubbish and ash from rubbish fires. Once while walking to the beach, we saw a truck drive up and dump polystyrene waste on the side of the beach walk way.

Arambol is not the beautiful, peaceful place it should be.

Arambol is not the beautiful, peaceful place it should be. It is now aimed solely towards the Russian tourists with loud pumping music at all times in all locations. The beach is ruined with neon lit bars. No one respects the place. It’s very sad to see.

I guess it’s one of the best in Goa, I have visited many beaches in Goa but I think Palolem is the best . Clean water n can go inside the sea upto 500 mtrs without any fear. I went with my kids n they enjoyed like anything without any fear.

It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very spread out and at night the wild dogs are quite agressive which I struggled with. I enjoy walking, but here you need to have a car / scooter or take lots of taxis. The market was good, we ate in nice restaurants like The Tanjore Tiffin (a bit more up market and we loved it), MS Slow Tide and Pirates Cafe on the beach. We also had a night out in Juna nightclub - good fun with great cocktails. Overall I didn't like Anjuna much, we were there in the low season and we struggled with getting around and all the dogs. It really depends what you're looking for, but for me Candolim was a better location and we left Anjuna early to return there.

A great city with lots to do, and some lovely restaurants.

A great city with lots to do, and some lovely restaurants. Walking tours are a great way to see the city and the surroundings. I particularly recommend Old Goa, Divar Island, and Fontainhas. Local tour operator Make it Happen are great

Hotel was far from the sightseeing places, not easy to access. This hotel is not recommended for stay for those who want to roam around or go for sightseeing. It is recommended only for those tourist who just want to be in the room itself.

Loved Morjim.

Loved Morjim. Friendly, conveniently located close to the services in town and to the beach. Lots of action but walkable. No rickshaws, plenty of motorbike taxis if you need a ride. Nice temperatures in December.

Mandrem Beach clean with a number of beach shacks serving...

Mandrem Beach clean with a number of beach shacks serving good food and drinks / meals during the day and meals at night on the beach or in their shacks. Water clean. Life guards on duty but not needed. Not crowded. Easily got a sun lounge very day.
