The room is stunning and spacious. The pool was clean and great to enjoy. Food was so nice and fresh. We got a great deal for all mini bar included and nice laundry deal. The best party was service. We were lost in the city at night, the manager came to pick us up! He was great and very kind. We were sad staying here only for a night!!

From the moment we arrived at The Park Calungate Hotel, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality and impeccable service. A special mention must go to Sukhdev, the Food and Beverage Manager, whose attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our dining experiences were flawless truly elevated our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him or indeed any of the staff; their polite and helpful demeanor was consistent throughout our visit. Our room was a haven of comfort and tranquility. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed, it provided the perfect retreat after days spent exploring or relaxing by the pool. Speaking of which, the hotel's location is idyllic. Situated directly on the beach, with the soothing sounds of the waves just steps away, it offered a sense of serenity while still being conveniently close to local amenities. The culinary offerings at the Calungate Park Hotel were simply outstanding. The Christmas Day brunch was a magnificent feast, a true celebration of flavors and festive cheer. But honestly, every meal was a delight, from the beautifully presented breakfasts to the delicious à la carte options. The quality and freshness of the food were evident in every bite. The Park Hotel provided us with an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect blend of luxurious comfort, exceptional service, and a stunning location. We went there for our babymoon and they took care of every little thing starting from easy accessibility to the room, the food and they also gave a maternity pillow. Om shanti lives up to its name. Quiet, friendly, good service ( money change, taxi), safe, the staff was taking care excellently and always ready for a little talk. The room's comfort was up to par. I found the bed and view very comfortable and pleasing, and with a strong Wi-Fi in the room, my stay went without any hiccups. I would also say that the facilities, like the restaurant, fitness centre, and room service, were great, with great assistance from the staff. Since the nice breakfast was included in the price we paid, we all found this stay to be the best value. As the Sinquerium Beach was close by, we had a lot of fun.

First time in Calangute and we made the mistake of staying...

First time in Calangute and we made the mistake of staying in the town centre. It’s a very busy and noisy road that runs down to the town beach and feels more like a mini city rather than a beach resort. The town beach is not great and yet it’s heaving with day visitors from the bus terminus. The beaches improve dramatically as you move away from the centre and just fifteen minutes walk north or south and the beaches are amazing. There are some reasonable and even good places to eat in the main town but the traffic noise is off putting. We loved our beach and beach bar just twenty minutes walk away and will stay to the south of Calangute town next time.

Very lively and plenty to see.

Very lively and plenty to see. What did not work was the rubbish that was everywhere. Walking to the beach, and just behind the beach bars the was mounds of rubbish and ash from rubbish fires. Once while walking to the beach, we saw a truck drive up and dump polystyrene waste on the side of the beach walk way.

I guess it’s one of the best in Goa, I have visited many beaches in Goa but I think Palolem is the best . Clean water n can go inside the sea upto 500 mtrs without any fear. I went with my kids n they enjoyed like anything without any fear.

Arambol is not the beautiful, peaceful place it should be.

Arambol is not the beautiful, peaceful place it should be. It is now aimed solely towards the Russian tourists with loud pumping music at all times in all locations. The beach is ruined with neon lit bars. No one respects the place. It’s very sad to see.

It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very...

It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very spread out and at night the wild dogs are quite agressive which I struggled with. I enjoy walking, but here you need to have a car / scooter or take lots of taxis. The market was good, we ate in nice restaurants like The Tanjore Tiffin (a bit more up market and we loved it), MS Slow Tide and Pirates Cafe on the beach. We also had a night out in Juna nightclub - good fun with great cocktails. Overall I didn't like Anjuna much, we were there in the low season and we struggled with getting around and all the dogs. It really depends what you're looking for, but for me Candolim was a better location and we left Anjuna early to return there.

A great city with lots to do, and some lovely restaurants.

A great city with lots to do, and some lovely restaurants. Walking tours are a great way to see the city and the surroundings. I particularly recommend Old Goa, Divar Island, and Fontainhas. Local tour operator Make it Happen are great

Loved Morjim.

Loved Morjim. Friendly, conveniently located close to the services in town and to the beach. Lots of action but walkable. No rickshaws, plenty of motorbike taxis if you need a ride. Nice temperatures in December.

Hotel was far from the sightseeing places, not easy to access. This hotel is not recommended for stay for those who want to roam around or go for sightseeing. It is recommended only for those tourist who just want to be in the room itself.

Mandrem Beach clean with a number of beach shacks serving...

Mandrem Beach clean with a number of beach shacks serving good food and drinks / meals during the day and meals at night on the beach or in their shacks. Water clean. Life guards on duty but not needed. Not crowded. Easily got a sun lounge very day.
