Amazing property, right in the middle of the forest. We could observe giant squirrels and monkeys from our balcony everyday!! Well maintained and clean rooms and facilities. Good food (we had a la carte) and great staff at reception and restaurants. Especially Sayand was very friendly! We also really enjoyed the complimentary nature walk and the different activities (table tennis, board games, etc.). They also helped us organise transport and other activities around the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone especially families travelling with kids.

We stayed in the tree house at Kalidasa for 3 nights, what a truly magical experience we had! The accommodation in the treehouse is basic, clean and comfortable, but the setting and the hospitality of Sudheesh and his family are exceptional. Their recommended driver, Namshi, organised all our transport and arranged safaris for us. Sudheesh’s wife and mother produced delicious home cooked meals and Sudheesh was very happy to share his extensive knowledge of the area. They made our stay, in what is already a really beautiful place, as good as it could be. If you get chance to have a massage whilst you’re there, do, it’s another great experience! For a genuine local and back to nature experience, we highly recommend this place.

The self-service buffet breakfast was delicious, and while the canteen food was simple, it was consistently tasty. Overall, it was an excellent and serene experience. I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Wayanad.
