Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Great location, quiet place, very friendly staff. Beautiful and spacious rooms, very clean. Definitely recommend to those who seek a comfortable place in the middle of nature, yet easily accessible.

We got a very nice little house with everything we needed. The view was outstanding and the parking lot was right next the house.

It was super clean and had everything we needed (we also enjoyed the cookies & wine they gave us). We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay!

Furniture and interior design was so nice, cosy and all details seemed to be considered to be suitable for this area.
