The location the view the apartment, simply everything was so carefully installed. Lots of space, amazing beds and a great shower. The kitchen was huge and complete. Could not have asked for more! Este albergue está ubicado en la granja Berunes, junto a la carretera de circunvalación y a 45 km de la localidad de Djúpivogur. We were on the Iceland ring road trip. This was the best hotel experience I had on my trip. You could feel the human attitude and care in everything. and everything was just very pleasant. We didn't see much of the surroundings because there was a lot of fog and our stay was relatively short, but we experienced a magical atmosphere. Breakfast made from local products and warm, home-baked bread. This is a family business and you can really feel the family in this place.

El Blabjorg Resort se encuentra en la localidad pesquera de Borgarfjordur Eystri, a 71 km de Egilsstadir, y cuenta con restaurante y cafetería. Friendly and extremely helpful staff. Homemade breakfast buffet. Very cozy room. Excellent views of lake and mountain. Amazing location near a puffin colony. Bathroom extremely clean even though not private. Highly recommend staying here.

A gem in the middle of nowhere, over the top, worth every single euro spent. Definitely the most genuine accommodation you can find in Iceland, surrounded by sheep, dogs, and their pet reindeer. The restaurant is as sublime as the place itself.

There are 4 or 5 upstairs rooms, 2 upstairs bathrooms. Downstairs there is a communal kitchen, two dining room areas, living room space and 1/2 bathroom with washing machine and dryer when you can use as part of your stay. Kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and includes an espresso room if you fancy a coffee. The interior is very nicely decorated and is quite comfortable, a nice change of pace after a week of staying in our camper van. Bathrooms are spacious, showers were great. We found our room to be quite comfortable as well. Bed mattresses lean towards firm, good amount of space for luggage and hanging jackets and a few clothing items. Small work desk with chair, bedside tables, plenty of electric outlets and windows to let light into the room.

Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses se encuentra a 5,8 km de Cascada Hengifoss y ofrece jardín y zona de playa privada, además de alojamiento con balcón y wifi gratis. Just an absolute 10/10 accomidation. Cozy little cabin in the woods about 20-30 minutes outside Egilsstaðir. The have everything you could possible need for a wonderful stay. We had dimm and rainy weather so we lit up the fireplace for a warm and cozy evening. Falling to sleep in the upper room with rain falling on the roof was delightful. If you are having second thoughts about booking this accomidation - go for it! You will not regret it.

Hengifosslodge Skáldahús tiene vistas al lago, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Está en Egilsstadir, a 5,9 km de Cascada Hengifoss. Todo. Las habitaciones son como cabañas o chalets, con cocina super equipada, living comedor amplio y la habitación aparte. Baño super equipado. En la cocina te dejan de todo lo básico como té, café, aceite, etc. Los dueños son encantadores. Cuentan también con una mini mini market con cosas esenciales, ya que el lodge está como a 25 minutos de Egilsstadir. Las vistas son impresionantes. Recomiendo quedarse 2 noches y llevar lo que gusten para cocinar.
