Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. The owner was very friendly and helpful. All meals were delicious. The location on the lake is beautiful. Vök Baths are close by.

This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. Very nice owners and staff. Great clean place. Watched the Aurora for hours!

I got in a car accident and arrived later than checked in time and the host was incredibly kind to wait for us and check us in. The house is amazing and we are really grateful

Undiraldan - Steinholt, old music school asub Seyðisfjörðuris. Majutusasutusest avaneb vaade mägedele ja aiale. Gufufoss on 3,8 km kaugusel. This is a cute one bedroom. The upstairs has a couch that you could sleep on but no dark out curtains and the kitchen we cooked in. Downstairs has two twin beds and full bed. The bathroom has a washer: dryer combo. This was our mid trip laundry stop. The town is cute and walkable.

Cozy and clean little apartment with well equipped kitchen, private parking and terrace. Very kind hosts, big garden and quiet location at the lake. Perfect spot to see Aurora. Would definitely stay here again!!! Best accommodation we had in Iceland so far!!
