One of our best stays in Iceland. Facilities blew us away and the restaurant was superb! View was exquisite.

Beautiful location, isolated and quiet but still less than 10 Min drive to cute town where we had dinner. We liked the sheep visitors. Very new and clean. Comfortable bed. Had everything we needed, well stocked kitchen.

Villan verkade vara helt ny, jättefräsch och passade perfekt för två personer. Man ville bara sitta och stirra ut genom fönstren - och då kom vi fram en mulen dag😇 Instruktionerna för att checka in kom fram smidigt per meddelande en dag före incheckningen och det gick bra även när man inte träffade någon fysisk person.

The apartment is very modern and equipped with basics that you would need during your stay. The view was spectacular and staying there was great. Highly recommended!

Where to start, Before checking in we visited Kirkjufell and the waterfall and I think I could actually see this apartment from there :D The blue roof just shines. Upon entering, you're greeted by a washer and dryer, which was just perfect timing for us, The apartment has so much space and is just sooo comfortable. I wanted to pack up that lovely couch in the living room and take it back home with me. The views from both bedrooms are amazing (mountain range and Kirkjufell). Huge bathroom! The kitchen was well equipped with just about everything. Would love to return someday <3

Sæból/Ocean Lair ligger i Grundarfjörður i Vesturland och har en trädgård. We had an amazing time at the Ocean Lair. The place is very comfortable cozy, clean, and spacious. It even has a separate tv room equipped with a massage chair! Its location is very well situated, close to the main road and nearby facilities and tourist attractions especially near the Kirkjufell. The owner is super kind. I’d forgot my purse at the place and left for Reykjavik. I didn’t realize that I had left it there until I’ve reached the town and the owner massaged me. I was so upset and was tired from the driving. As it was my last leg of the two weeks road trip and I was about to catch the plane home the next morning so didn’t want to go back to get it. Even though I had my credit cards and some cash in my purse I was about to let them go and told the owner to please destroy the cards for me. The owner instead told me to hold on and give her time to ask around if anyone she knows is traveling to Reykjavik. I was so glad when she messaged me that her sister is visiting her daughter and would be happy to bring my purse with her and meet at an N1 gas station. I was super lucky that the owner was so nice and I felt very appreciative. It was very kind gesture and I don’t know if I’ve left my purse at some other places, I would get it back. So I would highly recommend this place. My time in Iceland was amazing and the trip ended perfectly with this place the it’s wonderful owner.

Grund in Ólafsvík ligger i Ólafsvík. Boendet har privat parkering på plats och gratis WiFi. Grund was a warm and cozy respite from cold and extremely windy weather. The apartment was in a fantastic location in town - a short walk from the one small grocery store, a restaurant, and a waterfall. It was also an easy drive to all the amazing sights in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The kitchen and bathroom were recently updated. The kitchen has all you might need to cook - including an ample supply of spices and oils to use. All in all this was an amazing place to stay for our first two nights in Iceland.
