It has been a true pleasure staying in this hotel, the breakfast was great, the wine bar is amazing with large variety of wines and the rooms are extremely clean, large, comfort, large TV, - the best hotel I stayed during my visit to the Italian Dolomites.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The place offers a big and free parking area, which made everything super convenient. The hotel also has a great view — perfect for relaxing after a long day of travel. The highlight of my visit was definitely the restaurant; their pizza is absolutely amazing and truly the best in town — a must-try! The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to help me, even checking the weather and giving me useful local advice. Overall, a fantastic experience with great food, excellent service, beautiful views, and convenient facilities. Highly recommended!

Excellent location, very close to Tre Cime d Lavorado, excellent hotel very clean, comfortable beds, spacious, beautiful views. Staff was very helpful and polite and helped us find good place for dinner. Sufficient parking space available and access from garage to the rooms can be by lift. We will highly recommend this place.

Locanda Boton D'Oro, a property with a bar, is situated in Auronzo di Cadore, 35 km from Sorapiss Lake, 18 km from Lake Cadore, as well as 30 km from Lake Misurina. Amazing little gem!! Even better breakfast in the morning. Couldn’t fault a single thing. The room was very big and modern and most importantly clean!

As heavy travellers, we are quite harsh in giving ratings. This hotel is really lovely. The overall hotel is beautiful. Maybe just a little more decor can make it more cosy, especially for winter days. The food was plenty and delicious, especially I appreciated the care for gluten and lactose free options at breakfast. During the New Years eve dinner they prepared special meal for me due to my allergies, highly appreciated (as in other 5 star hotels sometimes they dont care). We had the best tasting ever veal with truffles dish. Friendly staff, free parking, nice saunas, everything provided (bathrobes etc). We really appreciated that the owner was present most of times, interacting with the guests- a very nice gentleman, caring for his guests. Not to forget that the road trip to the hotel and all area is absolutely beautiful.

Le Stue, a property with a terrace, is set in Pieve di Cadore, 45 km from Sorapiss Lake, 4.8 km from Lake Cadore, as well as 31 km from Cortina d'Ampezzo. Well-received by the host even though we reached at 10pm. She was warm and responsive. The room was nice and cosy, and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. We used it as a base to explore the Dolomites - it was a little over an hour drive to Cinque Torri and Tre Cime di Lavaredo, and an hour and a half drive to Lake Braies.

Verdi Armonie provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 39 km of Sorapiss Lake and 14 km of Lake Cadore. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 34 km from Lake... Everything about our stay was perfect—the room was gorgeous and super clean, breakfast was amazing, and the owners were the sweetest! We’ll be back soon.

C’era una volta un Re… is situated in Calalzo, 46 km from Sorapiss Lake, 6 km from Lake Cadore, and 33 km from Cortina d'Ampezzo. We had a really great stay! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and clearly well taken care of. You can tell a lot of thought went into the little details. It had everything we needed — and more. There was plenty of space, and both beds were very comfortable with quality mattresses, which made for a great night's sleep. The bathroom was newly renovated, which was a nice bonus. The location is also super convenient — right in a tourist area. It’s close to the road, but honestly, that didn’t bother me at all. A really nice touch was the coffee and tea setup, plus some sweet treats waiting for us. There was even a mini fridge in the room, which was super handy. The host was lovely — very friendly and welcoming. Check-in was quick and smooth, and she explained everything clearly. Outside, there’s a little table where you can sit and relax, and nearby there’s free parking, a pizzeria, a bar, and a supermarket. The town itself is surrounded by mountains and looks absolutely stunning. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Just a heads-up: check-in is only between 5 PM and 7 PM, which might not be ideal for everyone.
