Hotel Cannero is located in the lakeside town of Cannero Riviera on the shores of Lake Maggiore. It offers a seasonal outdoor pool and on-site restaurant. A great location on the waterfront. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Excellent buffet breakfast and dinner offerings. The staff were kind, helpful, accommodating and attentive.

Borgo Paradiso Guest House asub Maccagno Inferiore'is, 30 km kaugusel Lugano messikeskusest, 32 km kaugusel Piazza Grande Locarnost ja 33 km kaugusel Villa Panzast. Borgo Paradiso is located on a rather steep hill and allows a spectacular view over the roofs of Maccagno to Lago Maggiore. Our guest house was more than 100 years old, but nicely renovated. Our 2 rooms were on each side of a fully equipped kitchen with access to a balcony. The rooms had a good size, a wooden ceiling, and very comfortable beds. The bathroom had a good size and even a window! Our host Charlene spoke excellent English and was extremely nice and helpful. She offered us a gift of blueberry jam and honey and a coupon for free ice cream in the village. She also sent us advice for restaurants and which sights to see at Maccagno. Also the farmer who brought the breakfast (with fresh bread, cake, cheese and prosciutto) was very nice and made us feel welcome.

Absolutely lovely property with stunning view, super sweet and caring staff and a delicious, rich and varied breakfast. It is possible to hike all the way to Cannobio and the surrounding villages. Parking available on site.
