Set in a 17th-century building, Casa Masoli is only 450 metres from Basilica of Saint Vitale and Mausoleum of Galla Placidia’s Byzantine mosaics. Anna was a lovely host, who went out of her way to help with any needs. Breakfast was of incredible choice and the location cannot be beaten. Quiet and calm. Large space and all mod cons. The parking garage Navoni was excellent and very friendly also

M Club De Luxe B&B is set in a refurbished 15-th century building, located in the pedestrian-only shopping area of Ravenna. Breakfast was continental with fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, cheese, fruit juice, coffee, toast, jam, boiled eggs, coffee. It felt wholesome and heathy. The house has belonged to the owners family for many generations. It has been lovingly and artistically restored to its full glory. .

Set on its private beach, Milano Marittima's Bellettini Hotel offers parking and free WiFi, an outdoor pool, and a wellness centre with sauna, Turkish bath and hot tub. We stayed one night and everything was excellent. The staff spoke excellent English, which was a benefit for us as we were tired after a long journey from Canada’s west coast. The front desk manager was very helpful- he arranged the payment for our on-street parking spot (the hotel also has its own parking garage), and personally brought extra towels to our room and fixed a connection problem with the wi-fi as well. The restaurant dinner was good and the free breakfast selections were outstanding- the best we’ve ever found in Italy.
