The Mosaic City Hotel is a small and friendly hotel in the heart of Madaba, within easy walking distance of the Church of St George and the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land. Just the nice family members running the hotel was just nice. Nothing was too much bother 😊

The location is great, right in the center of everything in Madaba. The owner, Omar, is a wonderful person who truly loves what he does and puts his heart into his work. 🫶 It is important to him that you are satisfied, and he will do everything to make your stay pleasant and make you feel at home. He welcomed us with open arms and a bunch of helpful tips. The lobby is excellent for socializing and drinking coffee or tea, which Omar also offers to guests for free, but we didn’t have much time; I believe we will return with friends and have the opportunity then. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is good, and the whole place feels like home. Omar will be your best host during your travels in Jordan (even though the others were great too, but he was really acting like a family member), and you can really see that he loves what he does and lives for it. Parking can always be found in the street if you come by car 😉

Small grocery store across the street and a few bakeries and restaurants a couple of blocks away.

The whole stay was just amazing, the staff welcomming, friendly, supportive, kind.... couldn't get more. We have booked a dinner as well and it was far beyond expectations. And also the driver we booked through the hotel.
