Dormy Inn Aomori Natural Hot Spring está en Aomori, a 6 km de Parque arqueológico de Sannai-Maruyama y a 43 km de Termas de Tsuta. Nos alojamos durante una noche aquí (que pena que solo fuera una noche!) y nos pareció un alojamiento excepcional. Muy bien situado, en la avenida principal a 10 mins andando de la estación. Cama super cómoda y habitación medianamente amplia. Lo mejor es el onsen del que puedes disfrutar en la planta superior (aparte de sillones de masaje, sala de lectura e incluso helados gratis para tomar después del baño). Lo único de lo que nos arrepentimos es de habernos quedado solo una noche!

ReLabo -Medical Spa & Stay- dispone de centro de fitness, terraza, restaurante y bar en Aomori. Este hotel de 3 estrellas tiene wifi gratis, recepción 24 horas y servicio de conserjería. I loved that it is basically inside the station and I could get to the stores without getting cold. Also, I LOVED that I could finally have an Onsen and a Gym! Finally, the room was spatious, I had a beautiful view for the Bridge and the staff very very kind. Ah! And for breakafast I could order truffle omelet and eggs benedict (aomori style maybe due to the apple) and they were great!

HOTEL ZEN-Adult Only está en Hirosaki, a 45 km de Parque arqueológico de Sannai-Maruyama, y dispone de alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Excelente experiencia. Es un alojamiento que sale de lo común, muy buen diseño, comodidad, limpieza, y una habitación enorme con vista a un jardín privado japonés. El alojamiento combina el encanto de lo tradicional y la comodidad, confort y tecnología de lo contemporáneo. La ubicación es algo alejada del centro pero el responsable Wataru se encargó de llevarnos personalmente a los lugares que decidimos ir. Wataru fue más que amable y siempre estuvo pendiente de todas nuestras necesidades. Un lugar especial, diferente a la hotelería convencional y repetitiva sin encanto. Fue toda una experiencia japonesa pero confortable alojarse en el hotel de Wataru.

津軽三味線と民謡 繭子の宿 se encuentra en Hachinohe, a 14 km de Konakano Station, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. It was a comfortable stay with friendly people. I appreciated the extra effort on my last day.

Historical Ryokan SENYUKAN está muy bien situado en el barrio de Owani Onsen, Ōwani, a 43 km de Parque arqueológico de Sannai-Maruyama, a 17 km de Castillo de Hirosaki y a 42 km de Sukayu Onsen. This place is an absolute gem. The staff, food, location and room were all exceptional. I would recommend this ryokan to anyone wanting an exceptional ryokan experience. The onsen was also fantastic and the warmest one we came across in our month in Japan.

Tabinoyado Saikawa está en Kuroishi, a 33 km de Lago Towada, y dispone de alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. This is a traditional Japanese ryokan with public baths (gender separated). Dinner and breakfast are amazing and plentiful, with locally sourced organic produce (even coffee!). Our room (Japanese room with private toilet) was to the left of the entrance. It was very spacious. The heater worked very well as autumn night was a bit damp and cold. The beds are futons on wood bed frames on tatami, and they are super comfortable. As I have a whole-leg tattoo which is usually not permitted in the public baths, I notified Ranko in advance, and she reserved the private bath for us. The private bath was a very beautiful blue ceramic bath filled with warm (I don’t think it’s very hot) healing hot spring water from the area. Ranko’s warm personality really made the stay memorable. Be sure to ask her for recommendations of the areas. She is a well of knowledge of the area!

Guest House Chara se encuentra en Hirosaki, a 34 km de Parque arqueológico de Sannai-Maruyama y a 3,5 km de Castillo de Hirosaki. We spent three wonderful days in Hirosaki, a charming and authentic town that still feels untouched by mass tourism. It was refreshing to explore a place where the pace is slower and the culture feels so genuine. The absolute highlight of our stay was Guest House Chara, run by the kindest elderly couple, Fusao and Toshiko. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel completely at home—it wasn’t just a place to sleep, it truly felt like staying with family. Their house told a story, filled with warmth, history, and the little personal touches that made it feel lived-in and loved. From the amazing homemade breakfast to the delicious ramen dinners they prepared, every meal was made with care and love. The guest house is conveniently located, just a short walk from a supermarket and a laundromat, which made things really easy for us. This personal, welcoming experience truly made our trip special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a meaningful, off-the-beaten-path experience in Japan. ありがとうございます
