Onyado Nono Matsue Natural Hot Spring ligger i Matsue, 1,7 km från Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum, och erbjuder 4-stjärnigt boende med ett spa- och hälsocenter. The room was very spacious and well decorated, which is rare in Japan. We liked the fact that we had to leave our shoes at the entrance of the hotel and walk bare foot in the hotel.

UNO HOTEL ligger i Tamano, 21 km från Hashihime Inari Daimyojin Shrine, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. This was an exceptional hotel with serene surroundings and excellent communal facilities. The accommodation was one of a kind and we could never top this for dormitory living. The hotel made it so accessible for this way of sharing and the Onsen was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast at their Bluno restaurant was then just beyond expectations.

Drop Inn Tottori ligger i centrala Tottori, bara 5 minuters promenad från Tottori Station och 3 minuters promenad från Tottori Station. Super close to train station and the gym. Very nice host, lots of amenities! Free drinks too! Thanks for teaching me some Japanese too!

Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Really lovely welcoming guesthouse with great staff. Food was everything we needed.

Offering comfortable rooms with WiFi, 2 restaurants, Hiroshima Airport Hotel is a mere 5-minute walk from Hiroshima Airport. Free WiFi is available, and a free shuttle is provided to/from the airport.... The lady at the reception with good command of English, and the gentleman who helped us with our luggage (also with good command of English) or extremely welcoming and helpful. They even helped us to book a cab for the next day. It was the best thing about the hotel. And the view is great, especially the garden behind the hotel.

Miyajima Seaside Hotel ligger bara 5 minuters bilresa från färjehamnen Miyajima som erbjuder gratis transferservice och vacker utsikt över havet. The stuff was very kind and helpful, the place very clean and comfortable. Great view from the room and the shuttle is very comfortable.

A 3-minute stroll from Itsukushima Shrine, Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto boasts an outdoor hot spring bath. It offers luxurious Japanese-style and Western rooms and a free shuttle from Miyajima Pier. Such a wonderful experience—and I’ve traveled a lot! The private service, warm and attentive staff, stunning location, unique room with a hot tub, and breathtaking forest views were simply unforgettable. Even with our late arrival, the team went above and beyond: arranging pick-up from the ferry, preparing a 10-course private dinner, and staying longer to make us feel comfortable. From breakfast to farewell, every detail was perfect. I will never forget this fantastic hotel and its incredible staff!

The inn was exceptional, beautifully designed, quiet, and comfortable. The staff made us feel welcome, well cared for, and were very friendly. We would definitely stay again.
