The apartment itself was very clean and included so many cute details, such as local sweets and drinks. Also, it is right next to the famous dogo onsen. Amazing stay!

This recently renovated apartment is located 4.4 km from Shidenkai Museum and 21 km from Sukumo City History Museum. The property is non-smoking and is set 28 km from Enkoji Temple. The apartment is wonderful. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is excellent, and so is the kitchen. Parking is right next to the entrance. The area is very quiet. Self check-in was easy. As a bonus, there were sherberts from the host's farm waiting for us that were absolutely delicious.

We had to inform them that someone on our reservation was unable to come due to an illness, and they went out of their way to get her a souvenir! How kind is that?! When you arrive, they give you a cup of, possibly, the most delicious heated orange juice I have ever had. Genuinely both my brother and I were shocked at how good it was lol. They were also very complementary of my terrible japanese, so bonus points for hyping me up XD. The stay itself is quite small, but it has a magnificent view out of the window to the beach and the palm trees, and the sunset over the mountain is breathtaking. It also has everything you would need for a stay, fridge, microwave, table, kitchenette, etc. Special shoutouts to the shower, holy crap the heat and water pressure from that thing were life changing, and I wish I could have taken that shower home with me. Genuinely in the months that I have stayed in Japan that was the best shower I have ever had. No worries about food, there is a Konbini very close as well. All in all this was a wonderful stay, very convenient, hosts were really nice. Absolutely will try to stay here again when I retry the Shimanami Kaido.

Taka and Tonari were super helpful to explain everything about the guest house and they even called the fish restaurant nearby to make sure they could prepare a vegetarian dish for me. During the morning a very small earthquake occurred and Tonari immediately came over to see if anyone got scared. Everything was clean and neat. We also appreciated the house rules because even though all guests were staying in dorms/semi private room it was always quiet.

Meaning location wise if u are going to check-in late, better mindful to reach early. It was kind enough that the staff willing to wait for me. He was super friendly and I had a good time.

We had such a nice stay — the owner was so nice and welcoming, she drove us to the onsen and booked a very nice restaurant with sashimis for the dinner. We also had a good breakfast in the morning and she gave us very good advices of where to go next with our bicycles. I hope to come back.
