The place is very well located for the Shimanami Kaido Rd, or in general for island hopping. Also, it is right next to the ferry that goes to Okunoshima (Bunny Island), wonderful for a few hours of trip. There are some services (restaurant, convenience store, supermarket) around the area and in the hostel they also offer bikes to rent, cheaper than in other places. Wonderful experience to me!

Close to Ōyamazumi Shrine and the main shopping street. Host very friendly and accommodating. This is an older house, and the rooms aren't soundproof. You're able to hear other guests talking in the common area downstairs. But it didn't bother me, and I was still able to go to bed early. The sounds just felt like being in a house with family. Washer and dryer are free to use.
