Very comfortable futons and soft sheets. Clean as a whistle! Owner lives 5min away and came to help me when I got confused about how to get my key from the box attached to the side of the house. The owner responds to messages very promptly. There is a file folder with pictures and descriptions of places to eat at and stuff to do in the vicinity, even very clear directions for guests, which is super duper thoughtful. I highly recommend!. Tq Ms Aria!! It was a very good stay even though it was just one night.

It is perched on a steep hillside and has a lovely ambiance that is both luxurious and authentically Japanese. We splurged on a room with a private onsen and its own deck which was absolutely fabulous. We had a car, so getting there did not involve taking a taxi from the train station in town. However, it was a bit difficult to find when we first arrived and Google sent us to a different hotel.

Dinner was special and the breakfast buffet expansive & varied.

Location is a 3 minute drive from Fukushima Aquamarine and 25 minutes from Hawaiian resort by car.
