The location is perfect- it's near the bus stop and pretty close to Open-Air Museum. I also loved the onsen, both of them were clean and nice. The common area is cool and everything you need is there. I absolutely recommend it!

Their onsen facility was really nice. The room was quite spacious for groups and super clean. The place is centrally located especially if you want to visit museums near Hakone. The front desk who attended for us the night we arrive was really nice. She helped us through the phone calls when we lost our way and recommended us several different ways to get there. Even chatted with us a bit since she noticed we are ARMY too :) We had a really great time and would stay here again if we ever visit Hakone next time~

The whole Ryokan experience is wonderful. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. They have an option to reserve the Onsen, which gave us the opportunity to be all together for almost an hour. Breakfast is nicely served and it is an experience on its owne.d
