Very nice people, clean facilities, cute bar downstairs, with spacious rooms and delicious breakfast (paid). It was a very enjoyable experience. Please do mind that most activity plays at the other part of Matsushima, which is about half an hour walking.

Tama Hotel ligger i Ishinomaki, 37 km fra Shiogama-templet og 49 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center. Her er en restaurant og gratisprivat parkering. Dette hotel har 2 stjerner. The owner was very accommodating and even drove us to the port to get to Tashirojima Island. You can also feed and play with the cats :)

Uchi Matsushima Guesthouse ligger i Matsushima, 23 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center og 5 minutters gang fra Entsuin Temple. Dette pensionat har 1 stjerne. The host speaks good English and is very nice and helpful and open to just chatting. The location was great with easy access by foot to two train stations and just a minute up from the main street and the shoreline and just a few minutes walk from the plenty of things worth exploring.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. This is a very special place. The staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, and the fact that we only speak English was handled effortlessly. We were picked up from the parking lot and received a warm and professional welcome. The food was excellent, with a wide and well-considered selection. The cake and birthday decorations we requested were prepared with great care and were much appreciated. The stay feels like a quiet step back in time. The baths are beautiful, the room was spacious and refined, and the historic building has a character that invites you to wander its corridors at ease.

The Westin Sendai ligger på 28.-36. etage i Sendais højeste bygning, blot 10 minutters gang fra JR Sendai Station, og tilbyder luksuriøs indkvartering. Det var rent og god udsigt og god service fra personalet.
