WOW what a hotel - rooms, staff - everything felt luxury and special. Great location within easy walking distance to the main train station and also our favorite car hire facility. So many choices in the area to eat and shop and see stunning Sendai. Outstanding!

Matsushima Koumura ligger i Matsushima, inom 10 km från Shiogama Shrine och 24 km från Sendai City Community Support Center, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen samt... Was so got that we had to stay another night

Offering a fitness centre free of charge, Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East has direct access to Sendai Station. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. Fint rum med härlig utsikt, från övre planen, med bra faciliteter i rummet. Läget är precis vid huvudstationen vilket underlättade ankomst, utresor och vidareresa. Att se vissa av stadens sevärdheter kan man precis utanför hotellet stiga på en Hop on - Hop off buss, vilket vi gjorde och gillade. Härlig Japansk frukost med bra variation.

Bridge33 CAFE AND HOSTEL ligger i Takagi, 11 km från Shiogama Shrine, och har luftkonditionerade rum och en bar. Very nice people, clean facilities, cute bar downstairs, with spacious rooms and delicious breakfast (paid). It was a very enjoyable experience. Please do mind that most activity plays at the other part of Matsushima, which is about half an hour walking.

Tama Hotel ligger i Ishinomaki, inom 37 km från Shiogama Shrine och 49 km från Sendai City Community Support Center, och erbjuder boende med en restaurang och gratis privat parkering för gäster som... The owner was very accommodating and even drove us to the port to get to Tashirojima Island. You can also feed and play with the cats :)

Uchi Matsushima Guesthouse ligger i Matsushima, 23 km från Sendai City Community Support Center och 5 minuters promenad från Entsuin Temple. The host speaks good English and is very nice and helpful and open to just chatting. The location was great with easy access by foot to two train stations and just a minute up from the main street and the shoreline and just a few minutes walk from the plenty of things worth exploring.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. This is a very special place. The staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, and the fact that we only speak English was handled effortlessly. We were picked up from the parking lot and received a warm and professional welcome. The food was excellent, with a wide and well-considered selection. The cake and birthday decorations we requested were prepared with great care and were much appreciated. The stay feels like a quiet step back in time. The baths are beautiful, the room was spacious and refined, and the historic building has a character that invites you to wander its corridors at ease.

Set on 28-36th floors of Sendai's tallest building, The Westin Sendai offers a luxurious accommodation just a 10-minute walk from JR Sendai Station. This hotel is on the top of an office block and has a fabulous view with extraordinary windows. The room was large and very well appointed.

Komatsukan Kofu-tei ligger precis framför Matsushima-bukten och erbjuder boende med gratis fast internet. The service and room was very good. When we called from the train station near by, the hotel fixed shuttle bus for us, which was very helpful. It was very good for family with small children as well. We all enjoy very much together. The view from the room was excellent.
