Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! We stayed at a separate room which is not inside the main building. The room was spacious and had a private shower and bathroom. The main building of the guest house is very cosy and welcoming and the free dinner and breakfast are a great bonus. The washing machine and dryer were very fast and efficient.

Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire building. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 15-minute walk away. Great location , close to town and the red Tori. Spacious comfortable room, view of the forest in the back, nice building with a restaurant downstairs with excellent food. Great breakfast. Kind and helpful staff. You can leave your bags if needed. We walked from the ferry, 20-30 mns. Great bath/tubs. Everything works well.

It is perfectly situated, being far enough away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance of the Torii gate, the "downtown" area, and the ropeway station for the ride up the mountain. Adjacent to the facility is a picturesque stream with the quintessential red colored pedestrian bridge. Be sure to sign up for the delicious breakfast and dinner; the same meal enjoyed by the heads of state at the recent G7 Summit held here. I will definitely be returning with my spouse to bask in the peace and tranquility of Miyajima.

Shinko and Teppei are great hosts, made us feel at home and were super friendly. Was great talking with you. The location is right next to ferry. We were able to get there early and drop our luggage to move around freely until the check-in time. The meals are superb. Highly recommended.

This location is a bit outside of Hiroshima, but very easy to get to by cab or train. The facilities were beautiful, and our room was comfortable with very thoughtful amenities and a beautiful private onsen. The main lobby has bountiful snacks and an incredible sake selection, as well as tons of other beverages that we could help ourselves to as we pleased. Both of our meals were so delicious, much more food than we were able to eat, and our whole party got to share a private dining room with an open hearth. This was truly a wonderful experience, and I would recommend anyone to book here and make the trip!
