Denne ryokan åbnede i april 2014 efter en grundig renovering og tilbyder rummelige værelser omgivet af rolige bjerge. Loved this accomodation private onsen and sauna were a treat. Dinner and breakfast were traditional Japanese and delicious. Were able to purchase wine on property which was reasonably priced and locally made. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay

Ryokan Shinsen ligger i Takachiho, 6 minutters gang fra Takachiho Shrine og 1,8 km fra Takachiho Gorge Freshwater Fish Aquarium. Her er en have og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi. Incredible property and the ryokan was immaculate, tranquil and friendly. The staff were all wonderful and the owner is very kind. We were late to our gorge boat and she gave us a lift in the van. The meals were also wonderful. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Thank you again!

This is the best apartment that I have stayed in my 2-week vacation in Kyushu. Unfortunately, we only stayed 1 night (original was 2 nights) as our flight from Yakushima island was cancelled due to bad weather. Rather than flying, we took the Toppy jetfoil. Host was kind enough to adjust our stay from 2 nights to 1 night. This place has everything and better amenities/facilities than hotels. Very good experience.
