This hotel is in a quiet town in a really central location to reach the islands in the Seto Inland sea. It is right opposite the station and port, and so easy to find. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with great beds and balconies you actually want to sit on. Toilet is separate from the bathroom which we always love! The real point of difference re. this hotel though is the Japanese bathhouse and restaurant which are a short walk down the road behind the hotel. Use of the onsen is complimentary for hotel residents and we used it every day we were there. The onsen facilities are very comfortable and atmospheric and the food/ambience in the restaurant is wonderful and not at all expensive. After big days of walking around Teshima and Naoshima it was so lovely to come back here on the ferry and just relax.

The property was gorgeous, so well designed with modern touches but a traditional feel. We stayed in both junior suites and the maisonette and all were beautifully designed and decorated. The maisonette was two floors so could be tough for older people. The staff was friendly and helpful and made our group feel so welcome and comfortable. The food was amazing and the chef was lovely, chatting with our group each night and kindly tweaking the menu whenever needed for the picky people in our group. I can see this ryokan becoming very quickly widely recognized for its outstanding quality, design, and service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Yoruya and I hope to stay here again someday.

L’établissement Temari Inn Yukikai se trouve à Kurashiki, à 300 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Jardin Shinkei-en. Il met à votre disposition une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et un parking privé gratuit. Incroyable. Le salon avec vue sur la rue traditionnelle, la chambre avec futons, la salle de bain avec baignoire traditionnelle… tout était magnifique. Meublé avec de beaux objets. On a reçu un accueil chaleureux avec plein de recommandations malgré qu’on reste qu’une seule nuit. Quel regret d’ailleurs, n’hésitez pas à rester plus longtemps à Kurashiki dans cet hôtel, vous ne le regretterez pas.

L’établissement The Shiroyama Terrace Tsuyama Villa se trouve à Tuyama, à 200 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Tsuyama Wonder Museum. By far the best hotel experience we had in our 1 month long trip to Japan. Hotel was easy to find with free parking and an excellent location with amazing service. Could have stayed here for a whole week with the castle views!

The facilities were exceptional with a nice LARGE bath, plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen. Owner was very caring and filled the fridge with delicious local food, including the legendary Okayama Pione grape. Will come again next time we need to stay at Okayama!

Situé dans le quartier historique de Bikan, à Kurashiki, le Ryori Ryokan Tsurugata propose des hébergements de style japonais dans un bâtiment historique datant de l'époque d'Edo. Très beau roykan en plein cœur de Kurashiki. Le personnel est extrêmement attentionné. Nous avions pris une chambre avec salle de bain privative. Elle était très belle, avec un très beau jardin privé. Le dîner servi en chambre est exceptionnel.

Such a beautiful property! Enough space for 4 people to stay comfortably. Plenty of cooking equipment to make anything you want. Overall, an amazing stay!
