The host, Maekawa went above and beyond to explain the ryokan facilities on my arrival. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Since it was cold, there were two quilts provided and the futon was great to sleep on. The common sink area was out of this world and very space age! Had two baths and they were wonderful. The breakfast in the morning was beautifully presented and very delicious. I was very impressed with the Akari Noguchi lamps in the dining room and common area.

I didn't have cash yet so he let me leave the parking money on the table at check out. He explained everything so clearly and the apartment had many amenities I didn't expect. There is a 7-11 and a wonderful ramen shop just a block or so away and vending machines right across the street! The neighborhood was very quiet at night and not too busy during the day. They provided bathing products and the soap made my skin feel amazing! The whole apartment is just for you and the price is hard to beat!

We highly recommend this home and can’t wait to return!

Located in Tokorozawa, within 11 km of Mukodai Park and 11 km of JGSDF Public Information Center, IN THE LIBRARY hotel and books TOKOROZAWA - Opening in 15th July 2025 offers free WiFi. Facility was nice and clean. The staff was helfull and accomodating. The free drinks (coffee, juice, teac) all the was nice.

Guesthouse Kuku Kawagoe is a recently renovated guest house in Kawagoe, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. June was so friendly and the guesthouse felt like a home! Unfortunately I could only stay one night because of my plans before and after Kawagoe, would love to stay longer! Kuku (the dog) was also so cute and calm ❤️ Comfortable bed, huge common space and kitchen, Supernintendo, Ghibli vibes everywhere..😍 What more can you wish for? It was such a cozy place! I have to come back one day! Thank you so much!
