The hotel is directly located at the base station of the ropeway to temple Tairyuji, hence is a great starting point for visiting it. They had one colleague at the check-in who spoke english. The hotel has an Onsen-like spa, which I really enjoyed. Nice athmosphere.

Super clean. Hostel of good design: showers, toilets, kitchen, coffee machine etc on ground floor while beds on upper levels, so very quiet for good sleep. Lots of common space to relax in. Staff helpful and informative responding with plenty eating and drinking options. Check in and out can be fully electronic, while staff in place during reasonable hours.

Ideally situated in the Dogo Hot Spring district of Matsuyama, 媛邸【ＥＮＴＥＩ】 is situated 600 metres from Joshin-ji Temple, less than 1 km from Matsuyama Shrine and a 16-minute walk from Miyukiji Temple. Everything was incredible: the villa is very modern, clean, well designed, “boutiquy”, very relaxing. A lot of nice things were provided, such as coffee and tea bags, nice sweets, and a delicious mikan juice. Lastly, the bathroom with the huge bathtub was the cherry on top for relaxing evenings before going to bed. The lady who did the checkin was very kind and provided us with detailed and thorough explanation. The staff was very responsive during our stay. Highly recommended!

The room was immaculately clean and spacious and was well equipped with amenities and cooking equipment. The view from the room and the huge balcony was beyond stunning. Would highly recommend staying here, and already have to many people! Would definitely stay here again and wish we had been able to stay longer.
