Stayed 2 days at the hotel and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. They even had a English speaking staff to assist foreign tourists. I really felt "omotenashi" during my stay here. The facilities were great too and I'm so happy that they had free washing machine. You just needed to pay another 100 yen to dry your clothes for 20 mins. It was great that you could enjoy the onsen, wait for your laundry to finish, then enjoy the free ice-cream or probiotic drink after the onsen. Had breakfast during the New Year period and the food was great. There was a change in the menu on day 2, so I was impressed.

Very kind and welcoming host who made us feel at home. The guesthouse is recently and tastefully renovated traditional house. Triple room is large and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Short walk from the train station and local attractions.

Situated in Masuda, 600 metres from Mochiishi Beach, ゲストハウス＆カフェ ハレテル features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Amazing view of the ocean (just a few steps away), with a double rainbow (because it had recently rained), and spinning windmill in the background. Included access to laundry machine, free items in the fridge, general access to the whole house were great to have. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Wished I could have stayed another day to enjoy the cafe and watch the sunset when it wasn't cloudy.

Inishie no Yado Keiun is located in Izumo, 2.3 km from Inasa Beach and 3.2 km from Hamayama Park. This 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Clean, quiet, great food, staff very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, I loved the onsen in our room, and the self grinding coffee was excellent, beautifully decorated.

I enjoyed how the owner was very nice and helpful in making our experience legendary. Yugi( the owner) is one of those people who will drop things to help make people's experiences awesome. I enjoyed the authentic sleeping on tatami floor with futons in a traditional room with a lot of food options nearby for us to consume that night. it felt very safe and enjoyable as a whole and stuff

Set in Yasugi, 26 km from Mizuki Shigeru Road, Shokinkan offers rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. It's a traditional Japanese ryokan in a temple. Nice staff and we really enjoyed the stay.

Noren Yado Meigetsu, a property with a garden, is set in Tsuwano, 1.9 km from Taikodani Inari Shrine, 1.7 km from Tsuwano Joushi, as well as 37 km from Ikoji Sesshu Garden. Unexpectedly and without us asking the owner was waiting for us at the station and gave us a ride and remembered us from our stay of many years ago. View from the room is a nice Japanese garden and pond filled with koi.

Situated in Matsue in the Shimane region, with Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum nearby, Ohashikan provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath. Everything wonderful. Very comfortable beds. Went for deluxe room with seating area and water views, and were rewarded with two evenings savoring the spectacular sunsets over the lake for which Matsue is known. Dinner in restaurant Willows very nice—be sure to make reservation when you book. We got in one night, but the night we arrived it was booked out, like many places in the city.
