This was a very positive experience. The room (end of the corridor) was plenty big enough for the two of us, allowing us to pack the three suitcases we had before sending them to the airport. Laundry facilities were clever, as you could see on your TV when a machine was available. Cleaning staff were exceptionally helpful - one day we asked for extra water as we were thirsty, and the lady remembered the following day as well. Reception team were professional but still friendly - you always get a better vibe in Tohoku in comparison to Kanto, in my opinion. Also, there was a microwave available near our room, which enabled us to cook proper meals when we weren't eating out. The bathroom was really nice, too - unusually spacious.

会津七日町inn ligger i Aizuwakamatsu, 17 minuters promenad från Aizu-Wakamatsu station och 4,2 km från Mount Iimori. All good things! Great location close to the touristy things. Very clean and efficient use of space. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were very clean and private, a good ratio of bathrooms to guests — if you’re worried about “shared bathrooms”.
