馬籠ふるさと学校 Magome Furusato Gakkou ligger i Nakatsugawa, mindre end 1 km fra Toson Memorial Museum, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Extraordinary settings, it was the most unusual place we stayed during our trip throughout Japan. The rooms were clean and had everything you need, the beds in the shared rooms were surprisingly spacious and the staff was very kind and attentive.

From the walk in to the the elevator, up to the lobby, to the view overlooking the city at the reception, to the amazing view from our room itself, we can say little more than “Wow!” Everything felt upscale, and comfortable, and well sized for two people. We stayed on the 28th floor; slept and woke up to the city of Nagoya. The gym was nice to use, as was the sauna and the laundry facilities.

Close to 来宮駅 Kinomiya Station just next to Atami. I could walk to Kinomiya shrine from the hotel. Nice view from the room seeing birds and squirrel and I could see the Hatsushima Island. It is very peaceful atmosphere around this area. The Hotel was clean and a nice big size. Private spring bath was great! There was a large window in the lounge room morning sun shine straight through. Owner of this hotel was very kind and helpful. I am very happy to find this Hotel.

Located right next to the train station and bus terminal, making it very convenient for our two nights in Takayama
