Very friendly front of house staff, great location, views of Mt Fuji from the open air roof top, which has some tables and chairs to relax at. The 4oom size was big, lots of room for 4 people with luggage.

The location is awesome. It's a bit far from the center but Lake Kawaguchiko is super nice and chill and I really enjoyed my walks there. The host owner was super friendly and offerd a lot of help and tips. You can see mount Fuji from the chilling area

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Kagelow is one of the most stunning hostels I have stayed at. It is immaculately clean and the facilities are lush! There is an onsite restaurant and bar and the hostels outfit is beautiful. I stayed in both the hostel dorm rooms and also the private hostel rooms, both were exceptional! Highly recommend for solo and group travellers if you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere!

Breakfast and dinner was really good! Everything was super clean and comfortable. Location is convenient and you can use their shuttle bus to go to the station.
