This hotel exceeded our expectations, from the very second we arrived we were treated like royalty by the entire staff, we had the most amazing hostess show us around the hotel and our room. The hotel is beautiful, very traditional but modern at the same time. Our room was amazing, incredibly clean, and with everything we could possibly need and of course our very own & relaxing private bath. There is a lot to do in the hotel itself besides the amazing onsen. The dinner was incredible and the breakfast was delicious as well with lots of options to choose from. This was our favorite stay during our trip to Japan, we really wish we could have stayed longer and cannot wait to be back. 10000000% recommend it!!!

Fuji Gran Villa - TOKI - is set in Fujiyoshida, 4.7 km from Lake Kawaguchi, 22 km from Mount Fuji, as well as 2.9 km from Oshijuutaku Togawa and Osano’s House. A dream villa. We booked a "small" villa for four people and we didn't have any problems managing privacy. The villa has only one kitchen but is equipped with a double bathroom so that if two couples are traveling there will be no problems with managing privacy and time. The terrace is a pure dream, we spent most of the time on the terrace admiring the wonder of Mount Fuji. We also paid extra to have the barbeque already prepared by the staff for our arrival and the quality of the food was fabulous.

Thank you so much for providing both pickup and drop-off! The owner was incredibly kind and friendly. Even though I went alone, I was able to enjoy the BBQ for 5,000 yen, and I bought some firewood separately to stay warm. The breakfast and BBQ prepared by the staff were both delicious! I visited in late October, and it was a bit chilly at night. There was a kerosene heater, but I think I set the timer wrong—it kept turning off every 10 minutes. Also, there was a slight kerosene smell. But the view was absolutely amazing, the accommodation was adorable and beautifully decorated, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. Sharing a restroom wasn’t a problem either. It would be nice to have rubber gloves for washing dishes! All the staff were very kind and helpful. If I visit Fuji again, I’ll definitely come back here and recommend this place to my friends.

Situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 5 km from Lake Kawaguchi, La Vista Fujikawaguchiko features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. Absolutely amazing. We were super lucky with the weather and got the most beautiful view of Mt Fuji from our balcony. The bathtub overlooking the lake and Mt Fuji is an absolute must!

Wafu Guesthouse Kashiwaya is located a 5-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station and a 7-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. The owner was super nice, she really made sure we felt like at home. Facilities are nice, Japanese style and very clean. Would recommend this accomodation!

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Great spot, relaxing and quiet.

Parking. Large room. Good public onsen. Overwall one of the better hotels we stayed in in Japan.
