Situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 5 km from Lake Kawaguchi, La Vista Fujikawaguchiko features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. The hotel was very well located, and the staff were exceptionally nice and kind. The room was clean and equipped with all the amenities you might need, offered free of charge. The complimentary shuttle bus from Kawaguchiko train station is definitely a plus. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see Mount Fuji because of the weather, but this hotel is definitely a must!

Wafu Guesthouse Kashiwaya is located a 5-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station and a 7-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. The ladies here are so lovely and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay at Wafu guesthouse. It's a 5 minute walk to the station. Easy to rent a bike and ride all around Lake Kawaguchiko. It was so nice having a separate room after all the capsule hotels in the big cities. Will definitely visit again!

Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Everything - room was way bigger than expected, with 2 full size rooms, 2 bathrooms, balcony and a sitting down area. Also, the hot tub/private onsen was way bigger than it seemed in the photos, and could easily fit 2 people at the same time. The onsen room was also way better looking than in the photos. Also, despite saying that it doesn’t serve dinner, the ‘light meals’ at the lounge are more than enough to satisfy given you can take as many as you want, and quite delicious. My favourite meals here were during the tea time though, so make sure not to miss it.
