Clean and tidy with good modern AC, comfortable bed, and a a good shower ans bathroom. Staff are really friendly and the Woodnest is a perfect beach vibe. Location is close to the main shops and eateries, and the southern end of the beach where the waves are! Thanks for having me 🫶🏻

Situated within 100 metres of Arugam Bay Beach and 3.2 km of Muhudu Maha Viharaya, Tropicana Home Stay features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Arugam Bay. We stayed three wonderful nights in Tropicana Home Stay. We have traveled around Sri Lanka and stayed in many hotels and guesthouses. This is one of the nicest and cleanest rooms we have had. Also with excellent Internet. It is a small family owned guesthouse with a small supermarket right next doors. The family feeling makes it very cost and accomodating. The owner cocked us a barbecue on our last evening. We can highly recommend this home stay.

Beautiful place with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Spacious and comfortable room with attention to detail and design. Possibility to use the pool and have massages. Great location for a boat safari.

Situated in Arugam Bay, a few steps from Whisky Point, Whisky Point Resort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. This is PARADISE! exactly like I have seen it described in books. Everything is just created to make you not want to ever leave ❤️ me and my fiancé had such a great experience here. When we have arrived, we had a bad cold, and everyone has mobilized to make us feel better: pills, teas, all kinds of ayurvedic medicines were given to us to make us feel better. I felt like we were at our parents homes, and they're going above and beyond to make us feel better. Rooms: we got an upgrade to a room with bathroom and, even though we paid for the lower one, we were offered for free the upper one - very nice gesture 👍 we never slept better - ocean sound and breeze, there is a balcony for each cabana. Super clean, great design, bathrooms are big. Lovely :) The food: Italian base, I had the best pizza ever. Also, we love soup, so their chicken soup is perfect. Staff: amazing. Also, the owners are very fun and welcoming, it was a pleasure to meet them. Activities: the complex is at the ocean front. So we bathed and sun bathed, the weather was amazing. Also, you can learn how to surf, get a massage, play board games, go to safari, go into the lagoon on the beach or by boat, tuktuk to PottuVill, which is much better than Arugam Bay, being more local. I don't have enough good words for this accomodation. I am now looking at options to come back in Jan-Feb and stay for longer than 3 days 😄

Located in Arugam Bay, a few steps from Pottuvil Point Beach, Blue Waters provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. Location at the lonely beach near Pottuvil Point was beautiful and also way less crowded with the surrounding farmlands. Chilled hide-out compared to party-tourism at Arugam Bay main beach. We’ve even seen an elephant at Pottuvil Point. Staff and manager were super friendly, extremely helpful and took care that the place felt like home - and hands-down: best hotel food in our entire Sri Lanka round travel - looking forward to receiving your Dhal receipe :)

Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Set in Arugam Bay, 300 metres from Pasarichenai Beach, Stay Golden offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Stay Golden is a beautiful and chill place to stay. We loved everything: the room, the pool, the food, the beach, the staff,... we even booked an extra night. It was wonderful. We booked a lagoon boat trip and a safari in Kumana National Park and we were amazed by the amount of animals we've seen. We took a yoga and a pilates class too. Would definitely come back here!!

Charitha Rest provides an open-air bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Ampara. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Very helpful with sorting hiking guides :).

Situated 300 metres from Arugam Bay Beach, Starfish Cabbana offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. The place itself, very nice surroundings, many plants, we had a great WiFi and AC, host is extremely kind and helpful !
