Hotel River Front was a little piece of paradise for the 2 nights we stayed here (with my husband and 5 year old). The entire property is immaculately clean - from the gardens to the rooms and bathrooms - it was spotless. Room and bathroom was large, good hot water in shower, good air-conditioning, lovely balcony overlooking garden wirh river at the bottom. Pool was fabulous and great to relax around after a safari. We ate dinner at the hotel on both nights. Food was really delicious and good choice. Breakfast was included in the package and was very good (fresh pancakes, fruit, toast, eggs, sausage, etc...). On the morning of our safari they packaged a breakfast up for us which was appreciated. Hotel organised a private safari for us. Channa was our guide and was brilliant. So knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we had a great day. We saw loads of animals including leopards and the scenery was stunning. A special thanks to all the staff who made our stay so special- they all do a fabulous job and made us so very welcome. If we are back in the area we would definitely stay here again.

Great location for safari to Yala Park. Super hostess who made us all very welcome. We had a room with four single beds each with mosquito nets and they were easy to reconfigure so we had two pairs of beds either the nets easy to overlap. La Safari Inn made contact ahead of our stay to see if we wanted them to arrange a safari which we said yes to. We had an experienced guide, Madhu, who collected us at 04.30 and got us back to the lodgings around mid day. We saw leopards, elephants, crocodiles, mongoose, monkeys, … and lots of beautiful birds.

Good Karma Hotel is located on Rekawa Beach in Tangalle, offering an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Free parking and a 24-hour front desk are available. Stuff was super nice. Good place to relax.

This place is magic. Absolute paradise! Madu and his staff were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our safari was well organised and Madu made sure we were well looked after. The food was superb and eating outside overlooking the lake during the evening was bliss. The hotel was without a doubt the best accomodation we have stayed at until now in Sri Lanka. The design is spot on. The layout of our “penthouse” was very well thought out and an excellent place to wind down after dinner. We have payed much more for other accomodations throughout our stay here that don’t even come close. The whole experience is almost a bonus on top of our Sri Lankan adventure. As for the safari, our very competent driver Dulita who we named Dr Dolittle took us on an unforgettable safari. We saw leopard, elephant, mongoose, monkeys, monitor lizards, crocs and countless beautiful birds. His spotting skills were second to none. A trip to remember for a lifetime. Highly recommended.

Great accommodation in Tissa! The rooms are spacious and clean, and have a balcony with a beautiful view to rice fields. The pool is really nice. Great value for money. The owners helped organize the full day safari. Really great tour (we saw 2 leopards) with a guide that doesn’t follow the crowds and truly explores the park. The location is not super close to centre but they have bicycles we can use (just a 20min bike ride)

The host was very nice and helpful. We even got two small evening safaris and he knows quite a lot about the local fauna. We also took the safaris the were arranged for us so we didn't need to organize ourselves!

Word cannot express how grateful we are to Nalin and Isharni for welcoming us into their home during Sinhalese New Year. Staying at Black Panther Yala was the absolute highlight of our two weeks in Sri Lanka. It was such a special weekend where we learnt/ate traditional food (e.g. oil cake), participated in the rituals and traditions and met the neighbours and relatives. The room was comfortable and the food delicious. Dinner included is such a rare treat. The location is lovely, set next to the wetlands. You can borrow bike and ride around the area. We did a safari through a driver that our host recommended and it was amazing. I would highly recommend Black Panther to anyone!

Το Yala Wild Hut - Yala βρίσκεται σε Tissamaharama και απέχει 19 χλμ από Tissa Wewa. Προσφέρει κήπο, δωρεάν WiFi, υπηρεσία δωματίου και 24ωρη ρεσεψιόν. The place quite relaxing and comfortable, surrounded by nature and wildlife, I enjoyed my stay although I was travelling on work. The owner and staff were quite exceptional and accommodating. The property is near a rock, highly recommend you enjoy a cup of tea during the sunset. Facilities were good, Toilets were clean. Food was delicious.

Το Finch Tangalle είναι στο Tangalle και προσφέρει καταλύματα με βεράντα ή μπαλκόνι, δωρεάν WiFi και τηλεόραση επίπεδης οθόνης, καθώς και εξωτερική πισίνα και κήπο. It was off season when we came in but we enjoyed our stay. So much so that we have the whole place to ourselves.

Σε απόσταση 800μ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Tangalle, το Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, βεράντα και υπηρεσία δωματίου για την άνεσή σας. The location was very nice, the bed was finally big enough and eveything was very clean. The hospitality was just perfect and we felt right at home. Unfortunately we could only book for one night, would have loved to stay longer. Would 100% recommend to book this place.
