I stayed there for a couple of nights. The place is new and clean, at that time it was not even completely open. Neighborhood is quite. I really liked swimming pool. Personnel of the hotel was really nice, especially I liked the food. If you are traveling by bus, the bus stop is just outside the hotel, so you can easily get to Mannar bus station

We had a medical emergency while in town so we had to extend our stay, and the owner was unbelievably helpful and kind, even came to the hospital to check on my husband's state.

Birdwatching in this area was my only interest. It's run by a lovely family and the owner turned out to be a very good birdtourguide himself. In the early morning he took us out watching in the nearby reserve. Furthermore the stay offered a basic room, motorbike rental to explore the rest of the island and probably the best cooked meals I tasted in Sri Lanka 🙏 My time here was well spend and the location is easily reachable by public busses and renting the motorbike was a good option for me to explore the rest of the island in one day. Value for money is outstanding. Oh, they have donkeys and I fell in love with them eventually and so will you...
