We’re really glad we chose the Mailagama Cinnamon Residence for our stay in Kataragama. The staff treated us with great respect and warm hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed the hoppers dinner with its absolutely delicious curries. We must also mention that the curd and honey were the best we’ve ever had.

Thanks to all the friendly staff who made our stay memorable. They were beyond helpful. There is such a special relaxed atmosphere and we loved everyone second of it. We were travelling with our kids aged 3, 5 and 9 as well as my mother in law and we all enjoyed it. We spend four nights here, and one day it was raining all day and we still enjoyed every bit of. Wonderful, spacious hang-out areas, great selection of books and games. And I will really recommend everyone to take a walk around the lake. A special thanks to the owner Anne, who is really making an effort in contributing to the community and village. We love you vision of leadership and we really hope to come back one day. Thanks 🙏

Jetwing Kaduruketha - Level 1 Certified är en lyxig eko-agro-resort med inspiration från en traditionell by. The chalets have an amazing view. The pool is very clean and the deck chairs over looking the rice paddies and mountains make for the perfect relaxation setting . The staff are very attentive and friendly, they try to accommodate all requests from guests. This has been one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Highly recommend .

The generous hospitality of our host family, the local food they provided, the tours of the surrounding area and their farmland with mountain views painted a beautiful picture of the local community and the astounding nature surrounding it. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The place was serene and we countered no other tourists during our stay there, even while touring the local sights. If you're looking for a true Sri Lankan experience, fo here. They even have a secret waterfall swimming spot :) The accommodation itself was well maintained, the AC worked and we were provided tuktuk rides wherever we needed to go. The price was a bargain. Do not miss this opportunity.
