The facilities are excellent. I was given a room with a grand view of the harbour. Breakfast options were very good and the staff behaviour was courteous and polite. Good value for money. Will certainly return.

Three weeks before this stay, I was here for eight nights, and a mistake by the reception staff caused my deposit refund to take over a month. I complained about it, asked them to prevent it from happening again, and then stayed for three more nights. The manager who handled my case was extremely honest and straightforward. To apologise, they gave me a substantial room upgrade and Executive Lounge access. They went above and beyond, expressing their sincere apology by not even taking a deposit when I checked in and allowing me to pay the total room cost only upon check-out. I will certainly stay here again when I come back to Yangon, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for the best all-around hotel experience in the city.

Situated in the Bahan district of Yangon, Melia Yangon offers rooms with free WiFi. Among the various facilities of this property are a fitness centre, a bar and a restaurant. First thank you Ms. Nandar and Mr. Oscar at the reception - very professional, welcoming and the best of the best in their work. Melia Yangon is lucky to have them both! The Breakfast at the Hotel was nice with plenty of selections!

HOOD Hostel har en god beliggenhed i centrum af Rangoon og har værelser med aircondition samt en bar og gratis wi-fi. The localisation in the Downtown is superb, most of atractions and good cafes and restaurants as well as money changers or mobile services is in walking distance from hostel. The ambience is basic, loft style, clean. There is a good privacy inside the dorms. The hotel staff is super helpful f.e. with bus ticket booking or giving pro tips for local transportation. They have theire own restaurant and the rooftop space open till late evening, which is very convenient in the city, where almost everything closes before 8am
