I'm on the point of departure with a heavy heart to leave the Kandhoo Island because I've spent a fantastic week at Dohani guesthause All the staff are very friendly and attentive, the rooms are lovely and very clean, and the various activities on offer meant that our stay was never dull. Facing the beachfront, Thundi by Biosphere offers 3-star accommodation in Maalhos and has a garden, terrace and restaurant. Everything was perfect, a little piece of paradise. All of the staff were perfect. Juwal, Maya and all of the staff were really great. The location is the best on the island, right next to the bikini beach. We also took the lunch and dinner at the accommodation, which were excellent.

Where to start… Owners, such a nice family! Smileys and fun all the time, yet still leave your privacy. They will help you with everything you need.. boat tickets, diving, snorkelling … fishing ( father of the family is island fishing legend) and what you catch, that will prepare home like food specialities. Facility sits next to beach.. you open the doors and you at on it. Room is spacious and comfy.

The space is very spacious and well-equipped, offering everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Despite its size, it also provides a great sense of privacy, which made it feel like a true retreat. The owner and the person taking care of the property were extremely helpful and genuinely kind. Highly recommended!

Boasting a garden, Kendhoo holidays is set in Kendhoo. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. At the hostel, the rooms are equipped with a wardrobe. It's a wonderful place to stay in Kendoo. Great location, quiet&safe, nice garden, few rooms on the first floor and a sea view restaurant for breakfasts on the second floor. Ideal place for snorkling from the beach, also there are many places around to go by boat. I would definetly come back during manta season. Special thanks to Akmal, a guesthouse manager, we met us at the airport, was always ready to help, organized New year dinner on the beach.

Situated in Dharavandhoo in the Baa Atoll region, LVIS Village has a garden. The staff here is amazing! As we arrived we felt very welcome and also during our stay the staff is always happy to have a chat. The excursions are the best part. Also dinner on the beach, candle light, no music just the sound of the ocean: truly unforgettable. The food is also very good.

Hosts and Atmosphere Hosts Shay, Aymen, and their family welcomed us with music, fresh coconuts, and frangipani flower garlands, creating a warm island vibe right from arrival. They helped with everything—from excursions to little details, even offering their scooter to reach the beach and ready to bring food if we got hungry. The owner carves wooden figurines himself and is always ready to show them or lend a hand. There’s a small but cozy bar without alcohol for relaxed evenings. Island Tour The hosts organized a wonderful tour of the island itself, showing it with such love—including plant farms, goats, two lakes, and the beaches! Excursions Snorkeling on reefs with stingrays and big fish was unforgettable! Food Delicious breakfasts with fruits and dinners with fresh tuna and red snapper. I want to return to these hospitable hosts!

Offering a barbecue facilities, Ithaa Inn Kamadhoo is located in the UNESCO World Biosphere Baa Atoll in the island of Kamadhoo. Thank you to Kadir and all other staff, they took care of us really well, they all were nice, polite and helpful. The room was really beautiful, worth every penny. The bed is big and comfortable, the whole apartment is on bigger size with a lot of space. We felt comfy there. The breakfast was delicious too. They gave us few suprises as fresh coconuts in the rooms, fresh fruit, plate of maldivian snacks and thank you note made of flowers on the bed. It's close to the beach so location is great too!

Set in Dharavandhoo in the Baa Atoll region and Dharavandhoo Beach reachable within 400 metres, Hanifaru Transit Inn offers accommodation with free WiFi, barbecue facilities, a private beach area and... We had such an amazing time at Hanifaru Transit Inn! The owner, Ahmed, was super kind and helpful – he told us everything we needed to know about the island. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a fresh coconut, which was such a nice touch. The room was very clean and smelled really nice. The bed was huge, and we slept so well! The breakfast was Maldivian and honestly the best breakfast we had on any of the islands we visited! We got both sweet and savory options and could try everything. It was always so filling, and I looked forward to it every morning. The rest of the staff were always smiling and happy to help, answering all our questions and taking great care of us. One of the big perks was the fridge downstairs with unlimited bottles of water that we could grab anytime during the day. It was perfect because we didn’t have to look for shops just to buy water. We could also make coffee or tea whenever we wanted. The room was cleaned every day, and the towels were changed every second day. Communication with Ahmed on WhatsApp was quick and easy. I really recommend this place, and I hope we’ll be back someday!
