The whole place is just so cute. You come inside and smell the Jasmin flowers. We arrived at 5 in the morning from the night bus and one of the ladies working there welcomed us very friendly. The several courtyards are wonderfully decorated and there are several places to sit - in the shade but also on terraces. The women in the kitchen are just amazingly warm people, greeting you with a smile and even preparing breakfast for you at 4 in the morning. The staff is incredibly helpful and tries to find a solution for everything - one of them walked with us around in the neighborhood to find an open lavanderia on a Sunday. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would recommend is to bring a hot water bottle as it can get cold at night - but this is just because I am a person that gets cold easily.

Great location near Parque de la Marimba, where you can enjoy beautiful live marimba music played by a full orchestra—it’s a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean, and there’s a small but well-equipped gym with a treadmill, bike, elliptical, and some dumbbells. Breakfast is nice, though I wish they had ketchup! Secure parking is available. The security guard was especially helpful, friendly, and spoke English. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk didn’t speak English, but she was still very kind and welcoming. Overall, a great stay.

The hotel also features transportation services to destinations in the Chiapas. Very nice hotel near the center. Nicer than in the pictures. Very good value. It was very quiet and very comfortable.

When we had to rise early for a tour, he rose early to have breakfast ready for us. The place is very close to a park (open Wednesday-Sunday). It’s a nice place to walk around, read a book, eat organic food from the cafe. It’s also not far from another park with a grotto of caves. We loved being close to nature and out of the main drag.
