The place feels like a 5 star resort right in the middle of the jungle and next to the Palenque ruins. The rooms are big and the bathroom is fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is nice and warm. Especially after a long day of traveling or visiting the Palenque ruins, it's nice to relax in the pool.

We loved our night here and wished we had stayed for longer! The natural swimming pool is great and the cabins are also lovely with great big windows. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. A perfect place to stay to relax with the noises of the jungle

Lovely small hotel set in gorgeous gardens with a lake and swimming pools. We had two lovely large rooms across from the main building. Our rooms had lovely facilities and furnishings. We stayed for 2 nights and ate at the hotel each night which had a good menu choice. We had the continental breakfast which was enough for us but wider options also available. The hotel recommended Mildred Lucas for tour and jungle walk of the Palenque Archeological Zone. Mildred was amazing and we had the best guide and walk and I would highly recommend this for your visit to Palenque. We saw and heard howler monkeys whilst there so an extra special part of our visit too. We had a hire car and safe parking in the grounds of the hotel and we explored Palenque town a little too and lovely restaurants in the town available too. I would recommend this hotel and the small size provides a lovely feel and environment. We found all the staff here very friendly, helpful and professional. We would love to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mercedes in Palenque. The place is beautiful, tranquil, located in the middle of the jungle. Very good service, clean spacious rooms and good breakfast. Would definitely recommend to any traveller going to Palenque!

We were upgraded to the cabania with a bathroom and it was really nice. They also let us stay at the pool for the next day after check out. We did a massage also and it was also really good. Best thing was all the animals we saw around! Iguanas, ducks, and some kind of guinipigs. The place is beautiful.

The pool is the centerpiece of the property. It was a perfect temperature and surrounded by the jungle. The front end at the infinity ♾️ side looks onto the parking lot, so, not perfect. The room had air conditioning and it was much needed. I went late June 2024 and it was hot and steamy outside all day.
