It was magical to see a glowing sunset on the lake while we had our supper on the restaurant balcony. The five stars are well deserved.

The setting—up a quiet hill near the center of town, with a courtyard full of greenery—was beautiful, and the rooms were wonderful. More importantly, the owner and his family were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. He gave us advice on our travel plans, told us about the town and its history, offered us coffee in the morning, held our bags for a few hours after checkout, and even found a restaurant for us when we arrived late in the evening. You need to ring the bell at the gate of the hotel to be let in or out, but they always arrived within moments. Overall we felt extremely comfortable and cared-for, and would gladly return.
