The staff were extremely responsive on whatsapp. Lock box to enter extremely effective especially as we arrived at 1am. The area is charming and a ten minute walk to the centre of town.

Every morning Tony would cook up a delicious 2 course breakfast and all travellers would come together to share a meal- this was a great way to socialize and meet other travellers. The rooms were clean and comfy and the pool was a nice addition given the humidity. Big shout out to Cesar who went above and beyond helping us rebook flights after our plans were cancelled due to the hurricane (we don't speak Spanish). Thank you again for your help! The beach and the laguna are fabulous for bird watching in the morning. We loved the view from the terrace and the pool too. The owner was super kind and helpful, gave us lots of recommendations for beaches, restaurants, day trips in the area and he even helped us plan the rest of our trip in Mexico. Our only regret is that we couldn't spend more time there.
