The Quetzal ligger 1,9 km från centrala Cancún, mindre än 1 km från Cancún busstation, och erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende med en uteplats, en utomhuspool och ett fitnesscenter. We had a wonderful stay at The Quetzal. It's not marked from the road so was a little tricky to find, but once you're in it's a haven. Beautiful hotel with a lovely pool and wonderful decor with lots of plants. We were given a very warm welcome with recommendations on places to eat. Breakfast was also wonderful and very tasty. Great place to stay if you're in Cancun and only 10 minutes walk from the Central Bus Station.

The Location and Facilities were amazing. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We had the upstairs apartment that has two bedrooms, and it had the best views of Bacalar. We had our own huge balcony with a table that sits six with the best view. The restaurant just opened a couple of months ago; the food was delicious. The Shrimp Tacos are a must. Chef Cristian did an amazing job with the dishes. They have a nice double deck to enjoy your time at the lake. We will definitely come back.

There is so many space inside a single unit, I loved the fact there was so much light!
