Maybe the best backpacker i have ever been. The hostel really feel like home (with a small family) and its also really clean a comfortable. Chris and sasha are so nice and helpful and even do BBQ night to get everyone together. Also the location is just 3 minutes from fhe beach. If you search for a place to stay in tofo, dont think twice🙂

We stayed at Kumba Lodge for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The place is stunning, beautiful location. It sits on a unspoilt part of the beach with no constructions around. From our bed we watched the sunrise :-) The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the stay had a homely feel. The food was delicious (even the bread was homemade). Excellent yoga classes in an ocean facing yoga shala are a wonderful addition to the stay.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom house and it was very spacious! 3 large king beds + 2 twins, great for a big group or family. The living area also had a nice area to hang out. It was very private and quiet. There is no AC, but big fans above each bed which was great. The entire house has screened windows. The restaurant overlooks the ocean and is a great place to hang out and relax, there are a few hammocks and also a kid's playground and small dip pool. The food was great, we appreciated the variety and enjoyed things like the Thai curry. Everything is prepared fresh, so it takes time, but we liked that. The ocean in front of the resort is great as the rocks create a small shallow lagoon. Perfect for kids. The resort is very family friendly. There is even a gym for a workout! Sam was one of the many friendly staff members who took great care of us. He drove us to/from town and helped us organize a tour. Rides to/from town during normal hours are 500 mets, but they will drive you to the Kumba Lodge for free. We walked to town many times along the beach which was beautiful, it is a 30 minute walk from the resort to the edge of town (Liquid Divers building) via the beach. Overall we had a great stay!

CozyBe has new, beautiful villas tucked back on a quiet street just a short walk from the beach. There are only a few apartments and they are very well done. Modern and clean with AC. The moved us to a larger room with a big king bed + twin bed (as we were traveling with our daughter) and there was a small kitchen attached. You could actually add a 2nd bedroom to this to sleep 5 (the other room was locked off). Fernando was the most excellent host! Helpful and kind, he is the best. You can access the beach from the Kumba lodge which is just short walk from their place, which is then about a 15 minute walk to the edge of town. Fernando mentioned they have been very slow as they are relatively new. Stay here, you won't be disappointed for the price.

And what a gem ! It is a beautiful house in front of the bay very clean and well designed and decorated. We were lucky to be the only guests and the warm attention and care that we received was beyond everything !! We were welcomed with a fresh coconut in front of the beautiful sunset on the beach Dinner at night at the restaurant on the beach where they kindly arrange a table in front of the ocean for us. The food was delicious !! The rooms are large, very clean, with air conditioning and amazing sea view. We liked it so much that we decided to stay one more night and enjoy the whole day there the following day. After a big breakfast in front of the view, we relaxed on hammocks on the beach installed for us. We went for a nice long walk on the beach with low tide, then did kayak between the mangrove at the end of the day with the high tide at sunset it was magical. They also proposed boat excursion to islands or birdwatching. We recommend 100% ! Perfect stay at this relaxing place ! Thank you again you two for allowing this beautiful moment for us and we wish you the best for the future

The owners, Paulo & Ana are phenomenal hosts, they made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had the best stay. The location could not be better. The housekeeper, Beatrice was around all day every day cleaning and tidying which is exactly what you want on holiday. There is also round the clock security on the property. The villa is luxurious, modern, beautifully decorated and well equipped. We loved everything it.
