Set on the banks of the Okavango River, Shametu River Lodge offers views of the Popa Falls and is 6.5 km from Divundu. Free private parking is available on site. Great welcome. Absolutely fantastic for birds and wildlife. Could easily spend hours enjoying the stunning view from the room and grounds. Everyone friendly and helpful, the manageress was lovely, coming to speak with us at meals. Sundowner Boat trip fabulous, great guide. To have the amazing Mahangu Core Reserve only 15 minutes away was excellent, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo and so much more. The food was delicious, catering for our vegetarian diet. For birders the views of Rock Pratincoles just incredible, I saw over 150 species of bird in a day in this area. Would love to return again.

These tents feature all feature verandas with views of the Okavango River. Each tent includes wooden flooring and a wardrobe. They also have a mosquito net and a bathroom. Of all the lodges we stayed at in Namibia, Ralf’s Lodge @Ndhovu was hands-down, and by far the best, most authentic, most hospitable, biggest bang for the buck! What makes a huge difference as we’ve discovered with all of our lodges, are those that are owner occupied, always give you much better service, and that is what you will find here! Also, the fact that they have two offerings waterside in essentially house, booths, are the only ones on the Kavango River that offered this amenity. We were in River side one, an outside our deck on the water, was a bloat of hippos numbering probably a couple dozen! What a joy, and treat watching this bloat frolic in the water and do their thing until 10 AM more or less, when they headed to the opposite side of the river, to graze and sunbathe, always returning an hour or so before dusk, to entertain us once again! The vibe is very relaxed at this camp, which makes a huge difference. It’s easy to mingle with other guests, make friends, enjoy Rolf’s staff, and his company, especially the fire pit after dinner each night!

Rooms were excellent, beautifully decorated .Breakfast was great, with a wide choice. The B&B’s ambiance was lovely. Stefan, our host was exceptional going beyond what is expected of a good host. If it were possible I would give Milan’s 6 out of 5 stars.

Featuring a terrace, Nyime Safari Lodge Campsite provides accommodation in Divundu. Providing complimentary private parking, the campground is 49 km from Krokovango Crocodile Farm. The campsites are huge with amazing views and brand new ablution blocks. The main lodge and restaurant is spectacular with good food and attentive service. There are lots of game tracks for exploring on your own with a 4x4 just outside of the campsite boundry.

With river views, Ichingo Chobe River Lodge by Mantis is set in Punga and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. Fabulous, friendly and efficient staff, especially our guides Robert and Nicholas who were very knowledgeable regarding the wildlife, boat handling and fishing. The food was first class and the river location very private and special.
