Our guide was so nice and was able to give us the most wonderful elephant experience! it was christmas eve and the staff had fixed a dinner for us in the canyon, with a show:)) very clean and a great view as well!

Beautifully designed resort tucked away in the rocks with a million dollar view. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Guided tours well-organized and informative (the elephant drive was absolutely amazing!). Food and drinks delicious, with best breakfast in Namibia (what an incredible spread).

The location is fantastic, surrounded by beautiful scenery and perfect for exploring the area. Everything is designed with great attention to detail, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel truly at home from the moment we arrived. The guides for our drives were knowledgeable and passionate, making every excursion a special experience. We felt very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay – it really felt like being at home. Highly recommended!

Wonderful staff, gorgeous location. Perfect amenities and room. Thankful to the kitchen who was able to cook a meal for one of our group with severe allergies (that's been VERY tough to find on our 5 weeks of travel in Namibia and South Africa). Don't miss the adjacent Damara Culture Living Museum and the Twyfelfontein Visitors Centre to understand and honor local life in Damaraland ("|Ui ||aes" in the local click language). We're not usually interested in tourist stops, but these two destinations are truly helping preserve local culture.

This was our favourite campsite during our 2-week roadtrip in Namibia. The location is very peaceful and safe. The space is huge, a large private plot with a bathroom, a toilette, an outdoor dishwashing area and a BBQ area. Everything was crystal clear, spacious, cozy, therevwasbhot water every time. We could buy delicious meat from the owners and grilled it on the fire - it was great :) The son of the owner was super kind and helpful. I fully recommend this campsite, especially for those on a roadtrip with a tented car. This clean and peaceful location was such a relief after the other crowded campsites.

Huab Lodge & BushSPA ligger inbäddat i frodig grönska i Damaraland. Här finns en pool och en naturlig termisk källa. Drycker kan du beställa i baren som finns på boendet. We stayed in a lot of great places in Namibia, but this was our absolute favourite. Beautiful accommodation, stunning setting, warm and friendly service. We loved the rooms with the huge balcony, and the large communal dining/bar area. All guests (and the owners) sit together at one large sociable dinner table, the food is excellent. We also did the Desert Elephant Tour with Deon - this was a real highlight of our trip. We were lucky to find the elephants, but even if we hadn't it would have been worthwhile for the beautiful journey along the ephemeral river beds (and the lunch!). This place is very special and we will come back one day.
