We had a waterhole on our doorstep, where we were able to see wild horses frolicking as the sunset. Sunrise, sunset and the sky of stars are something to behold. Camp Gecko provides a quiet space to absorb the beauty of Africa and Namibian. It is close enough to Solitaire, your one dtoo for all but also far enough to truly experience the African bush. Staff were amazing and their varied braai packs were greatly appreciated. A cannot recommend Camp Gecko enough. We will be back.

Contando con vista a la montaña, The Desert Grace en Solitaire cuenta con hospedaje, una terraza, un restaurante y un bar. ubicación impresionante!! llegar hasta allí fue como participar de un cuento....El bungalow es hermoso: amplio, con una terraza impresionante, el baño es soñado; pensado cada detalle...L amentamos no haber podido quedarnos una noche más al menos. Muy buena la cena buffet con distinas estaciones; pastas, carnes, pizzas, quesos, fiambres...Postres ricos y divertidos! Lindísma la decoración. Nos atendieron de maravilla en el restaurante. El desayuno tambíén buffet excelente. Durante el desayuno avistamos una manada de kudús y avestruces...Hermoso! Hicimos la excursión nocturna Scorpion walking tour: fue muy entretenida y aprendimos mucho sobre escorpiones, estrellas y constelaciones: gracias! Una estadía inolvidable.

The food was outstanding—thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and easily some of the best meals we had on our trip. Every meal felt like a highlight. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Everyone was unbelievably warm, friendly, and accommodating, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The excursions were fantastic, and a special shout-out to our guide Wakie Wakie, who was absolutely phenomenal—knowledgeable, engaging, and a joy to spend time with. His tours made the experience even more memorable. Highly, highly recommend Desert Homestead Lodge if you’re traveling to Sossusvlei. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, authenticity, and unforgettable desert magic.

Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Todo sobre el alojamiento es impecable. Ha sido sin duda alguno uno de los mejores lugares en los que me he quedado. Todo el staff es amable, y siempre están pendientes de tus necesidades. Increíble lugar para ver animales en libertad y muy bien hecho! El lodge está impecable y sin duda lo recomiendo. Muchas Gracias Stephen!!!!!
