We stayed for two nights in Desert Quiver Camp. The facilities are top notch and the location is very near to the Sossusvlei park gate. The BF and Dinner options at the Sossusvlei lodge was amazing. The sunset from the Camp is the highlight. Overall a wonderful and memorable stay.

The host was very kind. The campsite was very clean and paths were clear; we didn't have to worry about stumbling on a snake or scorpion because paths were clear.

Camp Gecko - PRIVATE NATURE RESERVE; TENTED CAMP AND CAMPSITE está ubicado en Solitaire y ofrece alojamiento con vistas a la montaña, un jardín, una terraza y parrilla. Camp Gecko is one of the best memories of our trip! The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!

El Desert Hills Lodge se encuentra a 36 km de la zona de Sossusvlei y Sesriem del parque nacional de Namib Naukluft. También cuenta con recepción 24 horas y restaurante. Everything was perfect from the food, the accommodation, the pool, the view!!

The Desert Grace está ubicado en Solitaire y tiene alojamiento con vistas a la montaña, una terraza, un restaurante y un bar. El complejo de cabañas ofrece wifi y estacionamiento privado sin cargo. ubicación impresionante!! llegar hasta allí fue como participar de un cuento....El bungalow es hermoso: amplio, con una terraza impresionante, el baño es soñado; pensado cada detalle...L amentamos no haber podido quedarnos una noche más al menos. Muy buena la cena buffet con distinas estaciones; pastas, carnes, pizzas, quesos, fiambres...Postres ricos y divertidos! Lindísma la decoración. Nos atendieron de maravilla en el restaurante. El desayuno tambíén buffet excelente. Durante el desayuno avistamos una manada de kudús y avestruces...Hermoso! Hicimos la excursión nocturna Scorpion walking tour: fue muy entretenida y aprendimos mucho sobre escorpiones, estrellas y constelaciones: gracias! Una estadía inolvidable.

Ubicado a 40 km de Sesriem Canyon, Desert Homestead Lodge ofrece una pileta al aire libre, un jardín y alojamiento con aire acondicionado, terraza y wifi gratis. rom the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The grounds are stunning, beautifully set against the vast desert landscape, and the lodge itself feels peaceful, intimate, and incredibly special. The food was outstanding—thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and easily some of the best meals we had on our trip. Every meal felt like a highlight. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Everyone was unbelievably warm, friendly, and accommodating, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The excursions were fantastic, and a special shout-out to our guide Wakie Wakie, who was absolutely phenomenal—knowledgeable, engaging, and a joy to spend time with. His tours made the experience even more memorable. Highly, highly recommend Desert Homestead Lodge if you’re traveling to Sossusvlei. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, authenticity, and unforgettable desert magic.

Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Lugar realmente increíble, el recibimiento del personal fue estupendo y encontrarnos con tantos animales a un solo paso de nosotros te deja boquiabierto. Lugar mágico y tranquilo, perfecto para empaparte con los preciosos paisajes de Namibia y su fauna, no te dejan indiferente. Por la noche se duerme de maravilla, ni un solo ruido. Cena y desayuno muy buenos. Si vuelvo a Namibia no dudaré en volver a hospedarme aquí.

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. I stayed here for 2 nights with my group of 15 people. Initially, I was hesitant to choose this property because the photos on the booking page don’t reflect its true essence, the images are low-quality, amateur, and not updated. Based on the pictures alone, I had doubts about the cleanliness and overall quality compared to the price. However, the camp completely exceeded my expectations. It’s a true treat and an authentic Namibian experience. The location is absolutely perfect, right between Windhoek, Walvis Bay, and the Sesriem/Sossusvlei road. If you stay here, you will save a lot of long-distance driving while visiting the must-see places in the region.
