Surrounded by granite outcrops and with stunning views and roaming wildlife, Desert Quiver Camp offers modern self-catering accommodation, located just 5 km away from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. Very big, clean rooms. Rooms are at a good distance from each other which feels very private. We ordered the braai package (a lot of choice and you can choose what you want) and enjoyed making our own BBQ. Swimming pool is also really nice. Location is very close to the gate.

Located in Sesriem, Tsauchab River Camp Campsite provides accommodation with seating area. This campground features a garden and free private parking. This was the best campsite we have ever visited in our life :) The campsites are large - hectares of private land in a very peaceful and safe natural environment. The private bathroom was clean, water was hot. We could cook our meals on the open fire. At the reception we could relax, have a nice beer. The reception itself is also wonderful with a lot of artwork. It is evident from all the beautiful details that this place is a real passion and mission of the owners. The lady was very kind and provided useful information on the places to visit. They have some own hiking trails - all wonderful :) This place was such a wonderful and peaceful experience, fully recommended!

Set 43 km from Sesriem Canyon, Little Sossus Campsite has a year-round outdoor pool, free WiFi, and free private parking for guests who drive. A minimarket is available at the campground. Scenic location, clean and comfortable campsite, very nice management, top communication. We were also able to buy meat for a spontaneous braai and received a lot of helpful recommendations for exploring the area. Very well located for visiting Sossusvlei. One of our favorite campsites on our roadtrip.

Featuring barbecue facilities, Namib Desert Camping2Go provides accommodation in Solitaire. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. We LOVED staying here. Beautiful location with the petrified dunes as the back drop. The tents were private and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The food was absolutely excellent and the pool was so nice to sit next to during the heat of the day after our Sossusvlei adventures! We wished we could have stayed here longer!

Set in Solitaire, Camp Gecko - PRIVATE NATURE RESERVE; TENTED CAMP AND CAMPSITE offers accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Camp Gecko is one of the best memories of our trip! The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!

Desert Hills Lodge is situated 35.9 km from the Sossusvlei and Sesriem section of the Namib Naukluft National Park. Offering a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant.... Everything was perfect from the food, the accommodation, the pool, the view!!

Featuring mountain views, The Desert Grace in Solitaire features accommodation, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. One night in a beautiful lodge, room was the best one we had on our 2 week holiday in Namibia. Would love to have stayed more than one night, but was cost prohibitive.

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. Stunningly beautiful location and extremely cute tents. We also had a delicious dinner, served by one of the kindest waitresses we’ve ever had.

Solitaire Mountain Lodge offers views of the Namib Desert and the Naukluft Mountains. It features 1 outdoor pool, a garden and a restaurant. Lorenzo attention was a highlight of the trip, also the food was delicious and prices very reasonable 100% recommended
