Surrounded by granite outcrops and with stunning views and roaming wildlife, Desert Quiver Camp offers modern self-catering accommodation, located just 5 km away from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. A truly unique accommodation offering real relaxation in the wild, under a breathtaking night sky. Doing a braai was an absolute must — it took the experience to the next level. The ingredients and equipment provided for it were excellent!

It is just an hour from the gate as Sesriem and it is preferable to camp at this idyllic spot rather than the bland and busy camps at the gate. We also availed of a lovely home cooked farm dinner on one of the evenings. A perfect camping spot.

The place is absolutely stunning — the design is unique, with so much attention to detail. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Everything felt truly pampering, and the property is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The staff really take care of everything you might need. We were on our honeymoon, and they surprised us with a lovely handwritten card in the room — such a thoughtful gesture that shows how much they care about the little details. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Don’t miss it! And at night, the sky full of stars is just magical.

Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Amazing, tranquil place to stay. Obviously quite a drive from anywhere else but it’s worth it. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast are like meals at home (nothing fancy but straight to the heart).

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. Stunningly beautiful location and extremely cute tents. We also had a delicious dinner, served by one of the kindest waitresses we’ve ever had.
