Peaceful and quiet on the water. What amazing view from inside and outside this modern renovated rorbuer. There’s a wrap around deck too with seating to enjoy the water views. Hosts were very friendly and you can order food at their restaurant next door. Great base to hike and explore.

Set in Alta, 17 km from The Rock art of Alta, Sorrisniva Arctic Wilderness Lodge offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Sorrisniva is a truly magical place! The location and the views from the lodge are breathtaking, the rooms spacious and well designed. You can watch the Aurora while lyung in bed (if there is solar activity). The staff and the owners are super friendly and helpful, there is a genuine happy atmosphere everywhere. It is a great place to both relax and have fun outdoors. Oh, and the food with mostly local Produce was amazing!! We will definitely be back as this was ine of the highlights of our trip to Nord Norge.

Goldin is situated in Kautokeino and offers a shared lounge. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Comfortable beds, very clean, and welcoming hosts. In the morning, we were treated to waffles, juice, and coffee. Pleasant surroundings – there’s a river flowing nearby. A large terrace to relax on after the trip.

Varangertunet bed & breakfast is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Jakobselv, where guests can make the most of its ski-to-door access and garden. Wonderful host, great room with stunning fjord view. Breakfast is excellent. The best stay I had in Norway. Highly recommended

Situated in Alta, within 5.9 km of The Rock art of Alta, GLØD Aurora Canvas Dome offers accommodation with air conditioning. Dome was fabulous, breakfast and staff were excellent and accommodating, a wonderful stay !

Located in Alta, 23 km from The Rock art of Alta, Alten Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, a garden with a terrace, and access to a sauna. We were a couple on the way to Nordkape. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare a hot dinner. The bedding is pleasant. The shower is hot and good. Just a wonderful place!

Can’t ask for more. Rustic cabin with wood stove, wood burning sauna, beautiful views, well equipped kitchen. I enjoyed getting a tour of the hosts beautiful Norwegian elk hounds and Alaskan malamutes. There’s even a bbq hut but we didn’t use it. Friendly hosts and lots of peace and quiet.
