This was a super cute apartment with excellent service. At the end of our holiday we were thrilled to have shuttle service provided. Our host picked us up at the train station and delivered us to the airport at 04:00! A bonus for my daughters were the kittens who lived next door.

It’s well thought out for the guests. The place is equipped with everything we needed and more. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. There are books and colouring books for my daughter. We highly recommend this place to travellers with kids.

Julia, the properitor was courteous in her responses and prompt too. Luxury appliances in use ie AEG. Well use of space in the toilet shower laundry area, temperature regulated tiles to walk on. Perhaps a gated community for a lovely lady snapped shot photos of us entering the unit we could have been intruders:). A decent walk from the station to this abode. A variety of eaterys nearby. Well done Julia for allowing people to stay in this beautiful unit .

Gjestehuset Borggata 18 is a recently renovated campground in Fredrikstad, where guests can make the most of its terrace and shared lounge. The breakfast was an unexpected surprise - a large fridge was stocked with everything you might want. The bedrooms and communal areas were comfortable and superclean. The property does not look particularly inviting from the outside, but "don't judge a book by its cover". Walking distance to the town centre and a large range of restaurants. Friendly and helpful host, keen to ensure that we had everything we needed and that everything was to our satisfaction. Convenient with free car park across the road - get a parking card from the host. Would gladly stay here again on a journey north or south. Highly recommended.
