Everything.. the property was a good location to be just outside of town but not too far from everything. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, and bird song. Not to mention Nicky was an absolute gem of a host. Made us feel comfortable and welcome as soon as arrived.

Very cosy accommodation, perfect for a couple of nights in Motueka. The location is great, the beach is literally opposite and it’s close to town. It was super easy to get to our day hike in Abel Tasman.

We stayed in the Sunset room which had a lovely deck to sit on overlooking the garden. Clean comfortable room. Close to the beach. Just around the corner from shops and pub.

The room was very spacious and extremely clean. In fact, it was cleaner than any other hotel I’ve stayed at in New Zealand on my three week trip. Sometimes staying in someone’s home can feel uncomfortable, but this was not the case at all. Julie was so welcoming, and the guest rooms are on the top floor and each have their own private amenities. Julie was incredibly kind, offering helpful information about the area, and she went above and beyond by doing our dishes, refreshing the breakfast food in the fridge, and tidying up every day. The neighborhood is super cute and peaceful too, and our room had a lovely view of the mountains. This was definitely a better deal than any other hotel in the area. I would absolutely stay here again.
